It seems Boruto really is busy with his job as the Hokage nowadays. In the meantime, a lot of battles were featured. Too much in fact. Sasuke is back again though. |

| Ofc without flashbacks this isn't a series related to Naruto. Anyway aside that they finally showed Shikadai becoming a chuunin in the anime.Honestly i forgot it wasn't shown in the anime yet since i saw that on the movie. |

| The chuunin exams arc was the only arc that was better in this series so far. The flashbacks were definitely better than One piece ones. I'm glad they didn't choose Sarada, otherwise it would've been nepotism at its best by Naruto. Sarada did break village rules and chose to desert the village for Mitsuki, even if it wasn't related to the exams she did go haywire. I'm glad her father stepped in to stop Naruto. Naruto is definitely a bad Hokage in my view, he is bias and condones nepotism. His close friends children are given first priority in everything, especially Sasuke's since I think he was in love with him and probably still is. If I was in that village I would've left long ago. |

| I'm glad the narrative is going this way (what little we have of it rn lol) Shikadai is much more serious than Shikamaru, and I think has the best personality for the chunin elite position above his comrades. A breath-of-fresh-canon was needed, even if it was for like 5 minutes in total :) |

| I thought the episode was a nice recap of the past arcs (Chunin exams & Mitsuki's Will) as well as talking about who to promote to Chunin and become a leader. I like how Naruto talked about Denki and how much he has improved and the qualities that made him a Chunin candidate. I think Shikadai was a great choice to promote to Chunin. I would like to have seen Sarada get promoted, but I can understand why they didn't promote her yet. |
| Somehow I think we would know the chuunin would be Shikadai. But after listening to their reasoning for promoting Sarada, I had a feeling it would be her. But I should have know they would follow Naruto's step and pick a Narai member for chuunin. |

| Pretty fine episode despite the massive recap! As I hinted above, there was definitely a little too much of recap but it’s good that they narrated and assessed each and every round. Sarada was nearly on the verge of being picked but good thing Sasuke’s little briefing helped the other two to drop their bias (or was it really?). Something tells me Shikadai is more suited to be a Chuunin so I’ll just leave it at that. Next episode looks fairly interesting, let’s see how our new captain fares in action! |

| Oh man Shikadai got to be Chunin first just cause his father was the first in the previous show, that's just awful. They certainly picked the worst of the New Generation to get it. Press F for Sarada & D for Deadbeat Dad to Sasuke. |

| Basically a recap episode, but we got their thought process on picking the Chuunin and that they are now aware of what we were aware of that 1-fisherpole-style user has been doing recon for awhile now Originally I assumed Shikadai or Mitsuki, but due to events, Shikadai. They gave good arguments for everyone though I disagree with holding on to Inojin for so long. I honestly did not consider Denki, but he does make sense too. In the end, based on the ACTUAL EXAM, it would be Sarada versus Shikadai, but they decided to include the Hidden Stone events, but in that case, should be Inojin!!!!! I'm not going to say why, I'm getting sad just thinking about. Q_Q Shikamaru was right to criticize Shikadai even if Boruto did not cheat |
