Dainichi sure redeemed himself in a pathetic way, but who cares right! So all along Shaka was upset about the discontinue of his favorite frozen rice flour taiyaki, how funny. Glad he wasn't upset about the Dainichi blunder.

I see Taishakuten has decided to pursue Ashura, or at least I think so. Guess he is sorting out his past.

Meh ... back to the mostly corny so-so episode after 2 decent ones. Kinda glad this is only a 12 ep show - not sure I could last through more than that.

I have a million things to say about this episode. In no particular order:
- Taishakkun, er, I mean, Taishakuten basically fights with a light saber! (Except when he drops it and Dainichi accidentally uses it while spectactularly failing his way to victory).
- Kokuzo uses a freaking pay phone.
- Of course Shaka is upset about his favorite flavor of taiyaki being discontinued (lol we should have known).
- Is Taishakuten gonna go face Ashura alone?! Those other bishies best to get off their asses and back him up.
- Why does MAL only have 5 of the characters and seiyuus listed? This show has at least a dozen characters we see regularly.
- I'm so sad there are only 6 episodes left!
P.S. @Jezzikins The subs are ok on VRV now.

i wonder why i took so long in researching just a bit about Shingon Buddhism. Now I know the reason and context for lots and lots of things in this anime.

Even the way how Fudo treats Danichi as if one has responsabilities to the other just reflects the fact that Fudo Myo-o is a personification of Danichi Nyorai.
