Any interesting background story about "Touch" characters?

So, this plays 26 years after "Touch" in the same school.
Are there any references to the original "Touch" cast?

Like what happened with the original cast after Touch ended?

Spoiler:

Any mention if Tatsuya and Minami actually married in the end? Touch was rather vague with it's "10 years" thing.

It has some few references like in chapter 76 and 79, but it's quite another story

A couple of referrences. Harada from Touch has made his appearance. In the latest chapter ie., 84 (without spoiling much) he sees Touma and Otomi walking together but mistakes them for Tatsuya and Minami respectively (the way Tatsuya and Minami take a stroll in Touch).
Officially Tatsuya and Minami have not made an appearance yet.

I hope so. The end of the manga was kinda weird.
He said something like "When we don't start now, we never will." and then he finally said that he likes Minami.

But when she asked him to say it again, he said "maybe in 10 years". And I was like, "What?!".

And then he or she (?) said that they at least had to visit Kazuyas grave once a year.

I couldn't really tell if they actually started a relationship as a couple after that point because of Tatsuyas weird answer.

Sorry, but the sequel movies are NOT cannon and Adachi had nothing to do with the story. Think of it as a money making endeavor and nothing more. They tried to follow a similar format from Touch's Anime [with the filler episodes] where they forcefully try to separate Tatsuya and Minami [i believe the anime creators did not have enough manga content, so they chose the filler route until more manga content was made available].

We got to wait and watch how Adachi is going to take the story forward in Mix.

It is to be expected of Adachi. His endings are never conclusive as one would want it to be but you simply got to read between the lines. If you do, everything is there for you to see.

The "will say it once more is 10 years" thing. Think of it this way, Tatsuya, throughout the entirety of the series has been bad at expressing his feelings. Him telling Minami that he will say it again in 10 years is his way of saying he is in this with her through to the end. He will be with her even after 10 years [rather a lifetime] and he will say that he loves her again then [like a way to renew their vows].
Also, Minami's father actually sees this conversation of theirs and is pretty much content. Remember? he tells Tatsuya to make Minami his wife and he always has wanted Tatsuya to express his feelings for Minami [to be able to say he wants what he wants].

As for Mix, Adachi has been throwing subtle hints. As already mentioned in the comments above, Harada sees Minami and Tatsuya in Otomi and Touma respectively.
Also if you closely pay attention to Nishimura's (the coach in Mix) thoughts, he always recollects how he told Minami that in his next life he will be born as her neighbor and he will be her "Childhood friend". This is a reference to Tatsuya and Minami and how they are always together.

Of course, we will have to wait and watch as to how Adachi will take the story forward.
