| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This is one tense card game they're playing...especially with information or freedom at stake. Interesting to see Ace showing up from the manga and even Fyodor Dostoyevsky too. Thought this episode was thrilling with the mind games. Ace is a clever man but has quite an arrogant personality. Fyodor is also a very scary man for his abilities imo. |

| OnoD's character played cards with Ishida-san's character and asked him to join him like others with the "necklace" w. diamond. Miyu-Miyu's character, who looks younger than others with the "necklace", warmed him about obeying. Ishida-san's character doesn't seem to be feared. Ishida-san's character vs. OnoD's character and ... Ishida-san's character lied because he knew OnoD's character listened the conversation between him and Miyu-Miyu's character. What he wanted was the list of the abilities. He killed everyone so that the group won't be realizing that he stole the list. It seems like he only used his ability on Miyu-Miyu's character when killing him? Is it just me or did they mostly use past seasons (including OVA) scenes for ED clip? |

| When did this show get so good?? It was entertaining before but this season is just... amazing. So what was the captive guy's Supernatural Power? An ability to control brains? He's not controlling spaces or consciousness... but something about the brain, it seems. |

| This is as far as I have reached in the manga. Not sure if I should continue reading or just watch the anime. I feel really bad for the slave boy who got killed. I like the scene where Dostoyevsky convinced Ace about a fake ability. The strategy was much better than the one used in episode 3 of season 8 of a TV show. I love Ishida Akira, but his voice doesn't go well with Dostoyevsky. Well, I might get used to it in a while as he is a fantastic voice actor. |

| Amazing episode and quite well adapted as well. It showcased Fyodor's intellect and how cunning he is, establishing him as a pretty big threat to the Agency and Mafia despite not being able to fight like some of the other villians in the series. Overall it was very well done and a good point to start from. Even though I was at first skeptical, now I see it was the right choice to adapt this chapter first in order to set the tone for the rest of the season. And looking at the title for next episode, it seems Bones will be coming back to the chapters they skipped. |

| Love the new visuals and how stylish it actually is. Hmm thats quite the ability that Ace had and quite the terrifying one as well. But what was even more so was the guile that his opponent had. An excellent ep that featuring no action instead featured some rather high level cunning on the part of the sewer rat. Looks like he has some plans for both the Port Mafia and the Armed Detective agency. |

| This episode definitely subverted expectations. I thought the kid would be saved, but he dies. It honestly seemed like they were setting him up for something more, or perhaps to be a friend to Fyodor. And hilarious how they had Fyodor's power pegged as this high-minded ability but it ended up being a simple touch of death. Cool episode. |

| An excellent episode, firmly establishing just how much of a threat Fyodor is without fully explaining everything about him; it's going to be very interesting seeing how the Ability users try to stop him from eliminating them all. |

| So the first 3 episode arc was fine, but a bit of a let down compared to season 2 as a whole and especially Oda Sasunoske's arc. I was starting to wonder if season 3 would overall be a step back. Then this episode happened. Holy shit is Fyodor going to be such a great villain. The way he manipulated Ace is legitimately kinda disturbing, but it's a great showcase of who he is. He's playing 3D chess here while Ace was thinking he was winning in regular chess. I'm excited for the rest of the season now. |

| Fyodor is one of the greatest characters in the manga and finally we get to see him in his full glory, the animation is amazing and it seems Bones put a lot in this season. Having one of my all time favourite seiyuus Daisuke Ono voicing Ace was a pleasant surprise even if it was for a short while. Definitely it's going to be one of the best shows this season! |

| I'm not a literature guy so I miss out a lot when Bungo make a reference to famous author. Fyodor's ability, according to official website, is Sin and Punishment. I guess that it's the ability to punish a person based on his/her sin, so this might not effective to use on good people. Also, this kid's vision when he want to be Port Marfia's boss is so cool. I really want him to become one, but knowing Bungo's style, he might be even more evil than ever! (but we'll never see him again, sad fate)  |
| Dostoyevsky was awesome. A cunning, menacing villain able to trick his enemies psychologically and completelly destroy them. Probably the best antagonist of the series so far (along with Fitzgerald). What I don't liked was that they casted Daisuke Ono on that fodder. Honestly, considering the track of top tier voice actors BSD has followed trough its run, I expected him to participate on the show at some point, but never for such worthless character, lmao. He was great as usual, but it's both sad and hilarious they have wasted his talent on someone like Ace. They changed the visuals of the opening too. Expected, but welcomed. Also, they mentioned the events of Dead Apple and Shibusawa. Does that makes all what happened it canon? Especially considering how important Shibusawa was for Atsushi and that. |

| This guy Fyodor is gonna be one hell of a villain, he already left a great impression of his powerful abilities! That card game was awesome lmao, he was guessing everything correctly and Ace didn't even see that coming and his reaction was really funny haha.
