For this case, that male on the cover looks really feminine to a disturbing point, so to me that can be seen as baiting those that like yaoi, you can refuse all you want, doesnt matter, it is my point of view about it. I m not homofobic but that doesnt mean that I wont cringe a bit if I see yaoi or gay romance, or vibes leading to so (like Banana Fish which was done in a very CRINGE manner to me). This cover made me cringe abit. Dont interpret everything I said above previously or what I just said as me bashing or reacting negatively in a manner of "how dare woman express themselves like that", I m not that adamant. Just found it funny, since that is something I rare, if ever have seen on MAL, since for good or worst, this website has an HUGE male audience, and I m sure the percentage of man being open and expressing themselves without filters is certainly bigger than the female's counterpart. Kudos. @Hakaminah In my case, tbh I didn't take much notice of this anime until I heard the catchy opening and turns out it's sung by Rib, my favorite vocaloid utaite! Even though the theme is somewhat overdone (another Nobunaga anime), the summary that states: "boldly adapting the life of Oda Nobunaga" caught my interest. And yes, I also appreciate more detail like the man nipples lol. It's always been funny to me that manga/anime tend to leave them out as if it's either not all that important or too ero for our heart. XD |

| They're definitely pandering to the hardcore fujo audience with this one. You'd think this is another copy pasted creatively bankrupt typical otome thing or another terrible mobile fujo game anime. But no, this is supposed to be an original even if we've seen this exact same shit many other times before. I will try this but I doubt it will be watchable when they aren't even trying to hide how the only focus in it is the blatant fujo pandering, with some historical stuff sprinkled as a side note. The way they marketed this show was hilarious. In the first visual they revealed you'd assume the MC was a girl. Next key visual looked like your typical samurai fujobait. The third key visual looks like something ripped straight out of an otome game. And then if you look at the PVs the pandering couldn't be any more obvious. I don't mind seeing some handsome men making out if you know what I mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), but this lazy shit is really getting tiring. I'll be waiting for that Yuri On Ice sequel, at least that show did do its best to stand out in a good way. But hey, if the story and characters actually end up being good, I'll be on board to enjoy this one, but the staff doesn't give me much confidence. |

I doesn't matter if it's 2019 or 2030, you should never feel bad for your own personal tastes and preferences and never apologize for them. If you want more serious samurai stories I highly recommend you try reading historical seinen manga, they have a lot to offer in that department. | wew, imagine being insecure because of how characters look Im not into that fujo stuff but i'll at least give it a try because while, yeah, Nobunaga stories has been done to death, its an original and maybe there's something good from it. If the first episode isnt good tho i'll easily drop it since i have a lot of anime that im way more interested than this this summer. |
