Even Iris has her moments of weakness. I think she's lucky to have someone like Dean in her life that cares so much about her.

I felt that this scene was pretty masterful.
Made me laugh and cry at the same time.

I cried because i felt for her, as its alot to go through anyway for Iris that is,
And its also for her preworld memory self, a scary position.
She would be thinking "who can i trust", "will i die now".
"I'm just a salary woman". I thought that line nailed her predicament pretty well.
Shes out of her depth, she is not one of those infallible genius protagonists who
has the solution to every problem. So in my opinion it carry's alot of weight and
potential consequences. And im sure she does want a handsome prince to come
to her rescue, but doesn't believe this world has such a person.
(onto my next point)

I laughed because that is exactly whats happening, But shes completely unaware of the person she is breaking down in front of. She contradicts him, argues the point, Yells at him, cries on his chest, and thumps him... One of these would be inappropriate to do or display in front of the prince. I hope when his identity is revealed to her she recalls this and has a shy blush memory, but at the same time gets angry because she might think he tricked her or something.
Instead of just going, "soka". This is near one of my favourite drama isekai i've
read. up with shield hero (where naofumi breaks down and is comforted by raphtalia) and jobless reincarnation (where he and his dad reunite for the "2nd time").

I think this is a powerful way for you to attach to the protagonist.
Overlord could have done this, but they are making him evil and stuff so probably not now. Maybe like give his humanity back temp, and he confides in albedo for help, but he is worried that she will see him as weak, but because she loves him its k, would be a cool scene.

This chapter kind of annoyed me. I love that Iris is a strong character, but having Dean push her into a breakdown is lame. I know it serves for character development and plot, but in my opinion, I would have liked Iris to overcome the denunciation by her own strength.
