Welp, that escalated quickly. Also, I think that OP song is rather catchy for this season.

Looks like Chuuya and Dazai got attacked by the GSS but of course, they manage to survive. It seems this season has rivalries between certain organizations and Port Mafia is involved now too. Personally, I like the darker tone of this season so far.

Pretty cool episode.

Immediately facing against a team of enemy. lol @ Mamo's character relying on Taniyama-san's character. Mamo's character's face is scary when finishing one guy up, though.

Dark fire? That guy who is afraid of cold witnessing something not human.

Interesting, using text to show fighting in arcade game... Meeting two of members of Taniyama-san's character's group.

With Mamo's character's request, some people that caught are released. But Taniyama-san's character still "stayed" with him. Or rather, they are competing each other. That guy who is afraid of cold is the culprit? Both reaching at around the same time. Taniyama-san's character admitting that the inhumane creature is him?

ED is nice.

Like what is even the point of "special forces" when they are beaten by bunch of kids, of who we know have superpowers lol, but yeah nice episode.

Also is the whole season the past ? Or will there be some present events.

OMG THIS IS SO GOOD AND I'M SO GLAD THEY SHOWED DAZAI SHOOTING THE DEAD GUY WITH A LAUGH ON HIS FACE. I HATE THE SHEEP MEMBERS SO MUCH JUST WANTED TO SAY IT. I KNEW RANDOU WAS LYING SINCE THE ONLY THING I DID THE PREVIOUS WEEK TO TRYING TO LOCATE THE CITIES IN YOKOHAMA.
CHUUYA IS A REAL GOD. HE'S ARAHABAKI AND I'M SO HAPPY 😍😍

Chuuya sure has no shortage of guts thats for sure. The power of gravity sure can be pretty awe inspiring sometimes. The novelisation of the fight was pretty amusing. Looks like things will be sour between Chuuya and Sheep now that the truth of his activity is out. Hmm the mystery behind the Black flames deepen. Really curious to see what happens next after Chuuya's words.

I'm guessing like the 2nd season, it will back to present in few eps. (the past arc is not the whole season).

WTF?! That reveal at the end... my mind is blown.

Also, am i the only one who actually finds Dazai terrifying? He's so devoid of emotion and has absolutely nothing to lose and that makes him so scary, even when he's with the Armed Detective Agency

God, i'm loving this season already!

I was so longing to see how Dazai would be animated in the shooting scene... needless to say, magnificent!
So the 15 arc will probably end in the next episode...or in the 4th one tops. Glad Chuuya got the screentime he deserved!

In past episodes Dazai was described as one of the worst guys the port mafia had, today I did see those words were true.

This episode really confused me. It was quite hard to understand what they were saying as I was watching this on my mobile. The subtitles were tiny and the sound was barely audible. Guess I will have to re-watch this anime after my computer gets fixed.

This was not in the manga, was it? Is it from the novels?

I love how Chuuya never grows up. Haha

We finally see Dazai's dark side after hearing about it for so long.

I can't wait to see Atsu-cchi, but I also don't want this flashback arc to end.

I love how Dazai's feelings we're all over the place and The fact He had no control over it yet when he shoot that guy, he was envying him and I absolutely loved his laugh but it was a bit painful to watch him like that πŸ’” Also for Chuuya I felt so bad for him didn't see that Arahabaki coming 😒 That Poor Shrimp had no idea what Dazai was cooking for him all along but I loved it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜β€

The reveal of Randou as the main villain of the arc wasn't surprising, considering he will probably die by the end of this story (since he doesn't appears in the main series), but Chuuya's reveal was slightly more surprising. Not much, however, if you remember his Corruption ability.
Those two partners of Chuuya from the Sheeps have pretty nice character designs, but, then again, almost every character from this series looks cool, so...

The opening is okay, I prefered the previous two ones, though that may change if the staff changes the visuals by the time they start to adapt the manga chapters, like what they did in the second season after they ended the Dark Era. The ending, however, was lit.

I got trolled so hard.

I was wondering why they weren't animating the fight scene but it turned out that they were just at the arcade.

Chuuya's reveal wasn't surprising at all if you watched and remember the previous seasons and the movie Dead Apple, I was waiting for that reveal. I thought that Dazai knew when he told Chuuya to tell Randou.

Another great episode. It's interesting to see more of Dazai's darker side, showing that he is not quite mentally stable. I also like the twist, both Arahabaki's identity and Randous involvement in this entire mystery. Dazai as always is quite deductive and managed to figure out the mystery pretty fast, though I do like how even he was surprised by the twist at the end.

The new OP and ED are pretty nice, as expected of both Grandrodeo and Luck Life.

It is so much fun to see this side of Dazai... I especially liked how he handled the situation with Sheep. The fact that Chuuya is Arahabaki became obvious when Randou asked him about it, but it was still impactful.

Great episode overall, ended too fast! The OP has a different feel to it compared to other seasons, but I liked it.

Yes, Fifteen. Released along Dead Apple with promo purposes. Now getting a proper book.

It ends next episode, at this pace. The biggest mindblows are yet to come. I admit, I´d like to see more and more, but things are fine this way. It´s more than halfway through the novel right now.

Now for my thoughts... I LOVED THIS EPISODE SO MUCH! I already knew it was going to be that good, since I read the novel, but it was better than I expected. It seems they will arrange a certain scene in the next episode instead, I guess.

Dazai´s "thrill kill" has so many painful reasons... The arcade part. Oh, the arcade. I was waiting for it so much. I heard people like "Uuuh, Dazai is soooo emotionless". Well, there you have it. Some of his playful side, hiding his sharp observation. And before, that display of insanity.

Chuuya´s moments couldn´t be better. Put up a show in every part. Fighting, throwing a tantrum after losing the game and DAMN, THAT DRAMATIC ENTRANCE! YEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAWWWW!!!

And also showing his caring yet harsh side towards his partners. Though he was irritated because of their investigations... And that bet. It was nice how Dazai noticed what Chuuya REALLY meant for Sheep and told them the real deal.

Ahh, I´m already eager for the next episode!

Dazai laughing maniacally while shooting that man made me wince.

It was kind of obvious that Randou was the bad guy but I didn't expect Arahabaki to be Chuuya. That was a little surprising. I'm looking forward to next week's episode. I kind of wan tor rewatch the first two seasons and read the manga but I have a lot on my plate right now.

So they're are going with the same route of last season where we had two different visuals on the opening but same song.

Anyways on the episode, I enjoyed it as always. So Chuuya was the Arahabaki Randou "Apparently" saw! Chuuya is those characters that have massive powers but can't handle them and I enjoy watching those characters.

The investigation of Chuuya and Dazai continues in this episode, but now they are surrounded by a group of mercenaries and the worst thing is that they provoke the wrath of Chuuya by mocking about his height, Chuuya attacked them with all his skill and power. This fight was great, Chuuya stood out with his fighting style.
The part in which Dazai kills the dying mercenary left me shocked, the young Dazai has a very crooked mentality to shoot a man who barely clings to his life until the ammunition ends, luckily Chuuya stopped him.
Randou shares his version of what happened the night the Arahabaki appeared and Dazai already has an idea of who is really responsible, the way Randou described the night when the Arahabaki attacked I really liked it, it sounded as if the real demon would have appeared that night.
I laughed a lot about the part where Dazai and Chuuya are in the game center, the description of the fight gave to understand that both were taking a strong beating, but in the end was that both played a videogame fighting and Chuuya was the loser.

In the end Dazai and Chuuya come to the conclusion that Randou himself was responsible, both Chuuya and Dazai came to this conclusion from different directions, but without a doubt the true revelation that surprised me was that the identity of the true Arahabaki was Chuuya, what a surprising turn.

The chemistry of Chuuya and Dazai is very funny and they are a duo that complements each other, Dazai is the brain and Chuuya the force, together they are unstoppable.

In this episode we had a better look at the Opening and the Ending, Granrodeo sometimes brings out very good songs and this is not the exception, it is very good and accompanies the visuals very well where we see Chuuya and Dazai and Ending sounded good, but I will wait for the next episode, since I focused more on listening to the dialogue between Chuuya and Randou when they talked about where the Arahabaki is.

So, I guess it's one more episode of this flashback arc before we move back to the present? I'm kinda relieved at that, in all honesty, as while this flashback arc is decent and all I'm not finding it anywhere near as compelling as the one from last season.

It was a lot better than the first episode, a lot more happened and I think the animation improved too.
I think we'll get to know a bit more about Dazai and Chuuya's past in the next 2 episodes as well. About Dazai's dark side, seeing it in action was interesting but we had already heard about it so not much of a surprise.
the OP is great but i'm pretty sure it's gonna change in episode 5 like it did in season 2 'cause no agency characters appear in it.
