Cant wait to see how this ends if this will finish adapting the series. However how things are turning out, its kinda obvious who he is going to end up.

What do you guys think?

Wondering the same thing. Unless they're like 40 min ovas I don't see it happening? AFAIK there's quite a bit to adapt yet.

I don't watch as much anime as before...

It definitely shouldn't (at least hopefully), there is way too much content left to adapt for three episodes.

I hope it's just a halfway point for a second season covering the rest of the story.

Judging by the way productions with similar releases went in the past (i'm thinking about ReLife), i think they will try to end it with these episodes. and i'm fine with that, if they manage to give a satisfyng conclusion to the anime experience.

At that point, if we want a different take on the story, we can go to the manga...

I'm guessing Eps 13-15 will cover Chapters 28-33, but if they squeeze in 34 and 35 (Haruo's battle with Hidaka) that'll be OK, too! :' )

Each episode better be an hour long. I didn't wait 12 weeks to get blue-balled by that ending. The mango doesn't even have translations for the final chapters.

judging from the trailer it wont, they'll adapt like a volume worth of material
we'll definitely gonna get s2 (whenever it came out)
this anime is pretty unique because company like crapcom and bamco and snk can shill their newest stuff with it

he takes what he's lost and discards what he's won, he's every bit as alive as you and I

Don't think so. I'm guessing they'll adapt like a volume worth of material and announce a second season afterwards.

Same I don't want them to rush as much as they did with Amanchu Advance.

@Minar-kyun hope you are right, I love this series so much.

I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something.

People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English.

Wait, there's a chance that we will get a season 2? Holy crap. I had no idea there was that much material left.

I cant contain myself.

Yeah surprised they adapted ao much in just 4 episodes. I read the manga before watching the OVAs and was glad I did, there just so much missing in the OVAs compared to the manga.

I doubt it, a second season is way more lucrative. And it is something for all the hipster-nerds so it would've gone well in japan as well.
The only thing is that I would rather put it to lthe next season - Spring 2019 - not Winter 2019, because most of the episodes will air in spring, unless they release them all at once of course.

Hopefully we get a full adaptation through to the final manga chapters, meaning these episodes are likely just the lead into another season.

Not likely to fit the entire series in the OVAs.

Season 1 ends on chapter 27 of manga
OVA will probably cover a volume or 2, therefore chapter 27 to 33 or 35
Season 2 would still have 27 chapters of material left since there's a total of 62 chapters

The manga translations stopped at chapter 51 but the raw files are available.

You sound like you're very young, both in the way you randomly address me and the way you talk trash.

It's ok to say curse words if you want to be as harsh as possible kiddo.

I don't watch as much anime as before...

The OVAS? They are not released yet. And I read the manga too and until the 27 chapter there is not too much lost. Mostly the extras at the end of each volume.

Ah, sorry, my mistake, I meant the specials, the 4 episodes that conclude the anime series

A full adaptation of this is more than we deserve. But I definitely wouldn't complain if we got a second season on top of this OVA which looks to be the case seeing as JC Staff has even bothered releasing more.

OK, just finished watching the 3 OVAs.
Episode 14 had

So where does that leave us?
