| Loli Elise and Mafia boss are so creepy. I cant look at them as father/daughter relationship. He seems like a pervert*sighs* I love the siblings but I totally think Naomi has a brother complex that goes a little too far sometimes. Maybe one of them is adopted...who knows. Poor Kyoka ;_; |

| Kyouka can't catch a break... Everyone got completely destroyed by the guild and then acted as if it never happened. I really enjoy three way battles so I'm actually pretty excited to see the rest of this season. |

I have mixed feelings on them focusing on Kyouka again but it was a good episode. I dont, I love Kyouka design alot~~ She is not a favorite, but she definitly got some charm, and was the reason I gave S1 a chance. This episode was great, obviously change of mood from the outstading first arc, back in the present, but also in terms of quality this one also surpassed anything from S1, really tense and thrilling. Great start. |

| Ogai sent Koyo Ozaki to recover Kyoka. Atsushi got Kyoka a case, they went to deliver a folder to a judge, Kyoka electrified the system and delivered the folder but it went all wrong. They were talking about it in a park when Koyo appeared and attacked Atsushi with her ability (Yasha), Kyoka tried to fight back but she was struggling when Kunikida and Kenji arrived, suddenly two members of Guild appeared, John S. and Lovecraft, other members of Guild appeared and defeated the Agency and Koyo. The Agency kidnapped Koyo to obtain information and Dazai must get it. The Agency is preparing for the three sides conflict and planned 3 teams (2 offense, 1 defense) to deal with it. Ogai planned to murder Fukuzawa, but he could plant a trap to track him. Back to the present, Kyoka is confused about her porpuse in life, she could be easily dragged into light or dark side. Pretty interesting conflict, Port Mafia is tracing Fukuzawa, a Port Mafia's assault could be predicted. |

| Back to where we left off from S1. Seems this episode was used to immediately get back into the swing of things with a three-way battle. |

| Coming off of that last backstory arc, this anime already feels completely different. But I’m not complaining; I’m down for a 3 way war. Definitely a great way to keep things interesting |

| While a "three-way gifted war" sounds fun wouldn't it make more sense, strategically, for two of the groups to ally against a common enemy? "The enemy of my enemy is my (temporary) friend" and all that. In this case, although there is a lot of bad blood between the Agency and the Port Mafia it would make sense to form a temporary alliance against the Americans who basically invaded their country (like Mimic earlier). Of course, if they win the war, they can return to the status quo and continue to fight against each other. But at least they would have got rid of a common and apparently pesky and very powerful problem. Fighting a three-way may be a bit more fun but the Japanese teams risk weakening each other and as a result losing to the Yanks. I wonder if later on their two bosses are going to think that this is the smartest choice for both teams. By the way, by now the Port Mafia body count of the "expendable unnamed black & white costume sporting henchmen" must surely exceeded 150 bodies right? I wonder how/where on Earth they find all these men. Do they keep a batch of 50 or so men on the bench to replenish the dead bodies with live bodies in real time? ^.^ |

| Good episode, not as perfect as the first 4, but still nice. I just don't really like Kyouka that much, but maybe she'll get better with the time. Can't wait to see this battle. |

| Oh yes so the Kyouka drama is back with the mafia coming at it again against them, though they had a hard time first but at least they got one of the girl, and there is the guild as well |

| Kyouka can't get left alone for two seconds without someone trying to kidnap or kill her. Such is the burden of being a high profile target. Her and Naomi are the two best girls and yet they barely get the screentime they deserve, such a shame. On the other hand, Yukichi got some time in the spotlight. This episode also started some sort of informal competition between three factions, and it looks like an uphill climb for the comparatively small detective agency. |
