| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was okay, pretty standard for a fantasy series. We're introduced to the MC right away as he meets a mysterious girl in the opening minutes. The OP song is smooth and lighthearted. He is not much of a fighter but does make good usage of his powers. I think the main selling point may be the character chemistry here especially between Yuu and that blue haired girl. Have to see if this show improves. |

| That was cute, simple premise but it had fairly decent execution. What's really noteworthy is the music, beautiful. |

| Pretty much got what I thought of it: a game centric adventure fantasy adaptation. Seems OK, but the noteworthy has definitely got to be the OST, unusual but lighthearted. Yet another show that builds up to the 3 episode rule again. |

| This is so cute. <33 I really enjoyed the mild climate that first episode conveyed. The OP and ED are very good. I'll continue to watch to see more of this cute fantasy adventure. I want to see the characters that appeared in ED. Does anyone know how many episodes this anime will have? |

| I honestly wish this series had a stronger start because it looks really fun, bright and colourful, but the first episode was very predictable from start to finish and that bums me out a bit. I really want to like this show because it's general aesthetic really appeals to me, but if it turns out equally bland in the next two or three episodes I might just drop it because while the colours are great, the style itself is.. well, as bland as the first episode was, and the visual comedy didn't work for me. I do like the pacifist angle of the main character a lot though, and I'd love to see where that will go. Merc also seems like a fairly cute character but I agree with the comments that stated that Mochi-san is very obnoxious. REALLY hoping for a stronger episode 2. |
| Where does one get them self a Merc? Anyhow, I have doubts I'll finish this, will probably forget about it part way through the season. Never played the game so can't really say anything about that stuff either. |

| I was skeptical about this one, but I'm glad I gave it a chance because I loved this first episode! The character and monster designs are great, the animation is good, and the background art is gorgeous! Yuu is cool, cute, and even though he is afraid of monsters, he was still brave enough to use his 'healing magic' when it was needed. Merc is also really cute, and just like a fairy! I loved her personality too, and Fluffy-san is the fluffiest! Now my Thursdays are going to be a bit more bright. |

| It seems like we are getting a hero that's not all about fighting but about healing, this sure will be a different show than expected. Merc isn't bad either but I wonder what is she? I guess I'll find out as the story progresses. I'll let it entertain me for now. |

| I really enjoyed this. It was soothing to watch and this put a smile on my face. :) Merc is simply adorable and I truly like the chemistry between Merc and Yuu. So after watching that ED, I guess those are all the characters that they're going to meet along the way throughout this series. Looking forward to the rest and this anime could become one of my top favorites from this season. :D |
| Seems alright. I've only checked this out because it was referenced in Last Period: Owarinaki Rasen no Monogatari which was two seasons back. I really hope this anime is able to make a cameo appearance for Last Period back. |

| the mc being a complete coward is my only real gripe so far, i feel if he doesn't get used to monsters by the half way point it's going to wear thin very quickly. |

| for a fantasy series, there is still lot of cliche - weak MC that had cute partner - weak MC that had hidden power... this anime is enjoyable and can be watch on relaxing time. |

| Kinda liked it. Straight and honest lighthearted fantasy, a thing I need in my life somewhat. Clearly has less productional value and uniqueness compared to Last Period but could be more enjoyable overall. At least we can hear a lot of cute-mode Inorin I feel it needs a character or two more though, the cast seems too hollow right now |
| This season, we're served with too many ecchi to sadist anime, until the point where we thinking about, "is there any anime that could be our rest area from that things ?". And then, lord of anime give us this. I don't know anything about the game, but I love the atmosphere of the anime. Very relaxing and (i hope so), ecchi free. |

| That was great, from the gorgeous art to the chara design, with great music and a comfy atmosphere. And the premise is definitely more interesting than Last Period with its typical battling monster thing. I love adventure. |

| Hm, I expected something at the likes of the "Legend of Mana" game and manga. In that regard it was rather...dull. Not bad, the art is very lively and all, characters are okayish, but not that great either. More comedy would help a lot. |
| Pretty okay start to be honest, I do like the setting and the pacing isn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. If it keeps this pace I do think it could get quite interesting. Still a bit vague in terms of the overhaul setting, so I do hope we'll get some answers on those parts. |
