If this plot has anything to do with John Dancaster and that absolutely insane sequence of events in 1352 I will legitimately squeal in nerdy appreciation at the reference. Haven't actually started watching this yet, and I may have set the bar way too high, but I couldn't help but immediately think "OMG is this going to be a stupidly overblown magical anime somewhat slightly vaguely about John Dancaster?"
