| This is amazing!! Haven't come across an isekai that check so many boxes for me before this. It's like a mix of everything I loved: adventure, fantasy, slice of life, action, coming of age, (potential) romance, OP MC, rank up system, humble, kind and geniune protagonist, etc. It also helps a lot that the guy is reincarnated into a body of a young child with a design that I really like (who cares if it's a generic black hair design). I really like how the story is taking it slow, developing what's needed to be developed, and introduce politics into the world while keeping the story relatively simple without all the head-scratchers. It's also amazing how it doesn't focus only on the action but also the everyday lives like cleaning the toilet. Can't wait for the inevitable second time skip where the protagonist is actually a teenager and start a possible romance with the Duke's daughter. (or was it the grand daughter?) This is such a breath of fresh air. If there's anything to criticize about the manga, it's the overly repetitive reaction to the protagonist doing something, either being amused, impressed, or pity. It seems to have toned down a lot though since the beginning so that's a good sign. |
