| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- As it was to be expected, both the Queen, and Damiya showed interest in Erin, after seeing the way she calmed Lilan, and her family. Damiya didn't waste any time into harassing her though, the despicable fiend. First he tried to seduce her, then when he realized that it wasn't going to work he decided to bring up the fact that she's from the mist people, and that it could bring problems to Esal, he openly tried to intimidate her with this threat, but fortunately the Queen was watching it all, and came to her rescue. Ial was also happy, he even smiled, that she didn't fall for Damiya's charms too. The Queen then asked her name, and after hearing it, she said that its meaning, "wild apple", really suited her, and then Erin smiled, and Ial was taken aback once again, I loved it, he was truly surprised with her youth, and brighten up face. The Queen then proceeded to ask her about her origins, and Erin told her that her mother was exiled, and that she never got to live as someone from the mist, she also told her that she lost both her parents, and that Kazalm was her only home. But the Queen being impressed again with the way she fed the Beast-Lords without using the mute whistle, asked her to go to Lazal too, to raise the Beast-Lords from there just like she raised Lilan, without using the mute whistle, which she also hates. But for now she decided to respect Erin's will, even though she asked her to think about it, and said that she would invite her again on a later date. There is truly no turning back now. |
