| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not going to lie, I struggled to stay wake for the first half of the episode. It was extremely dull. Business picked up in the second half with an inevitable battle. However, I wish they made me care about the conflict even with the high stakes. Yuuto's speech sounds forced and eh, the battle itself was just all over the place. |

| Since when have crossbows ever been effective as a long range weapon? Never. That's what longbows were for. Crossbows were used for short range combat as thier accuracy wasn't great. The writer can't even contruct a convincing battle let alone make an interesting story |

| "Isekai" for me, is like guilty pleasure. But this series... How do you manage to screw up a show like this? Smartphone / Death March are freaking masterpieces compared to this, whatever it is. |

| Dude, seriously? I like the Isekai genre and would love to like this anime . . . but it is trash! It explains next to nothing about how or why stuff happens and when it does, the reasons are ridiculous. Everyone, especially the MC act like retards. I will probably keep watching it, but it lacks any real appeal. |

Except it's bullshit, no time or effort has gone into any of it, Arslan did a much better job of tatics. Shall we also mention how abysmal the artwork is? Action still frames everywhere, off model characters and crappy CG. Im watching to see how low the isseki bar can go and don't even getting me started of the creepy lolis throwing themselves at the MC either. |

| Another good episode. The twins continue to be adorable. I know the dramatic part with Pop was supposed to be touching, but I didn’t feel much. I do enjoy the fan service and action though. And as someone earlier said, I don’t watch these to learn much about the ancient world. Though there is a similar passage in Ammianus Marcellinus about the camels/elephants. Now if I can just shake this weirdo trying to save the animated waifs off my butt. Animated waifs of the world unite! ⛄️ |

| And once again that whole battle makes no sense. His men are getting slaughtered by the walls and crossbows, but if you take away their fear they can suddenly overcome it instead of getting shot down? And after finally getting over the walls on their bare feet, they now have to retreat because their horses ran away? Do you even logic? |
