| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A lot of training and buildup for the first half of this episode. I feel like this series will follow a very similar formula each week. I'm really happy to see Tsubasa grow as a character physically and mentally though. It seems his team has good support too with a growing fanbase. |

| Another great episode. So much buildup for the excitement of the match and i knew the game would start near the end of the episode/ This Matsuyama cameo on phone was a good surprise xD |

| Tha build up in the first half of the episode. Tsubasa during a sprint like nothing, he is the next Usain Bolt confirmed. The excitement for the match started finally. Damn the match is getting intense between Tsubasa and Wakabayashi. Everyone supporting the team, this will be a great game. |

| Great episode but it was mostly just buildup, I was hoping we'd get to the match earlier. I love the scene where Tsubasa just casually wins the sprint event while dribbling. XD The part where Genzou shows up behind Ishizaki right after the latter was trying to make fun of him was hilarious. xD Anyway, the match is finally underway but Tsubasa's on defense for now. Genzou's pretty mad though, he wants Tsubasa to fight him now. I'm so happy that the matches are actually animated and not just still frames like they are in 'Days'. Thank God! Next week's gonna be lit. |

| Man I really like the way this series develops so far!!!! Art style is really good. OST is also pretty great. I also love the way they modernize things. Like Misaki uses his phone to e-mail his friends. Wakabayashi challenges Tsubasa openly, but Nankatsu seems to have a different plan. Can't wait for the game next week. |

| The pace is faster than the original version, bur slower that Road To 2002. It isn't exaggerated, and that's good!! I was very surprised to see Matsuyama's mail on Taro's phone! xD I wasn't expecting!! I read the manga a few years ago, but I don't remember about some details of this game... So, I'm hyped for the next episode!! |

| Tsubasa has already grown significantly as a result of the constant training that they had prior to the game. Misaki is one of my all-time favourite characters. I'm excited to see him play again. Of course wakabayashi caught the ball like it was nothing. |
