| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oooh nice episode. We got more diving in its most pure and fun form. It scared me a little for a moments at some parts but thankfully, nothing dangerous happened. Water pressure at deep levels of the ocean is dangerous! Really loved the way the diving was presented as it felt like they were in another world. |

| The rings of air sure were funny to see. That sure was a dangerous situation that Teko ended up causing though. Excess air can be so dangerous underwater. Kodama sure has impressive reflexes at being able to dodge Pikari's hugs that easily. Her opinion of Pikari though sure was direct. Funny how different the two sisters are in terms of personality. The jet black mermaid's appearance though sure was unexpected as was his size. A calm and relaxing episode that continued Teko's development as a character while introducing a new character into the series. |

| Oh Amanchu! My dear Amanchu ... i will never see you with the same eye as before again. Episode was good as usual, we got to see Pikari's sister and grandpa, aquaman and sea turtle, i just hope that the "sister" will remain to be "sister" until the end of the show and manga LOL. |

| Fantastic episode, I'm glad we got a full on diving centric episode. It was real nice watching Max-Motivated mode Teko do her best while diving in the beginning. Unfortunately she made a small mistake that could have led to worse outcomes. Thankfully Pikari and Kato-chan sensei were there to help her out of the pinch. Nice piece of advice Pikari gave Teko, you can always count on Pikari to say the right things. :) "Yeah, your weakness may be your greatest enemy, but when things go south, your strengths will be your greatest ally." Pikari's smile when she said that was so pure. <3 Didn't expect Pikari to have a sister, not sure if it was mentioned before at any point but I sure don't remember it. In fact I never realized that Pikari lived elsewhere and not at the Diving shop. XD Her sister's a nice girl and I loved how she recounted her days of being dragged around by Pikari with that sort of straight face reaction. That said, she seems like a nice girl with her head on her shoulder and I couldn't help but laugh when she asked Teko to take care of Pikari. I knew it! I knew that Huge man in the black diving suit was Pikari grandpa. XD Kato-chan sensei's really cute when she's blushing. The diving trip to Ryugu palace was pretty cool. Pikari's grandpa sure has some superhuman powers. The final scene at Pikari's house was kinda funny. xD |

| Teko is a very sympathetic character when she struggles with her diving and self-confidence. This episode was better than some of the others maybe for that reason alone. |

| Poor Teko messing up again. Everytime she fails my heart hurts a little. :( But who knew Katori-sensei would meet the jet-black mermaid? Or that he'd end up being so....round? Seems like it was actually someone from her childhood but....Pikari's grandpa? I guess for some reason I just assumed he was dead. But I guess the towel did foreshadow him huh? Still his appearance certainly stands out, by this show's standards anyway. Next week it's Halloween! Fuck yeah, time to celebrate my favorite holiday 5 months early! XD |

| I relate to Teko so much. It's hard making a mistake, when everything is going so well, after you put so much effort into something. OMG, Pikari has a little sister. I want her to be in the show more. |

| Well that was quite a nice episode, got a little dangerous for a second, but it was also very peaceful and calm, as it usually is. I'm also happy to be learning about diving, despite the fact that I'll never, ever do it... The ocean scares me. |

| Also this fifth episode was very pleasant to watch. I'm happy that this time new characters have arrived too, especially because the appearance of Pikari's grandfather was unexpected. Always funny faces of the characters, I hope to see again all the new characters in the future. |

| am loving the new season waited this long to start watching ( as hard as it was) but wow i am loving all the new characters coming in oh how i wish this wasn't just 12 eps but it is what it is am already hoping a season 3 will follow after this season |

| Well, this actually happened to me once too. When diving I went very deep and forgot to blow off the air which made me dart up to the surface very fast, only to cause me a nosebleed after that. Very dangerous situation indeed. While it's true you have to constantly blow off your air for weights around your waist to bring you down, when you go up you actually have to blow off your air in your outfit too because after reaching certain rising point your lungs and air remains starts to expand again. It can happen pretty quickly if you are no paying constant attention. But thanks to that fiasco, Teko would be probably remembering that trick for a long time. Anyway, I also liked how they cared even about those small details like Teko balancing of ear pressure with her nose. And those two new characters then? It was interesting to see Pikari's imouto and her mermaid-grandad too (well, it was kinda obvious since they mention his towel in the beginning but still an interesting twist). The drama when Teko failed was bit overdone though as it was she who was endangered and they would be glad nothing happened. And Ryugu palace part was probably bit short but still. It was good episode afterall. Interesting fact that it was probably Grandpa who taught small Mato how to dive. Wonder about their future interactions. |

| I swear I need time to recover from Teko's sweet voice and absolutely adorable sounds and inflections because each time I hear them my heart swells and skips like crazy 🤗 Ai Kayano is a true treasure and I better be careful re-watching episodes like this in the future because depending on my age I might suffer a heart attack from these levels of sweet pureness 🥰 Also, I just loved Sensei's reaction to Grandpa Pikari her delivery of the word Huge when she saw him underwater was hilarious XD and her mentally recalling his warmth and kindness when she was a little one was too cute ^-^ I figured that was Pikari's Grandpa due to the foreshadowing of his size with that towel and by Pikari's reactions to seeing him underwater! Also, the way he blushes when he is talked about awwww just like Pikari they truly are Grandpa and Granddaughter 😊 I also liked Pikari's little sister they seem to have a nice dynamic and her resting face compliments Pikari's very well and LOL at her and Teko bowing too each other too hilarious XD Also a quick side note since I was watching this on Crunchyroll . . . . YOLO. . . . YOLO!?!?! Are you f**king serious Crunchyroll!?!? That anagram cringed in on itself the second it was conceived dying and spawning a black hole that eviscerated the credibility of anyone that used it. Just let it stay dead. Do not let it harm this innocent anime! But, a great and sweet episode nonetheless I like how Teko recognized her dangerous mistake but at the same time had encouragement from her friends to not let this misstep discourage her from moving forward on her scuba diving journey ^-^ Also, that preview for the next episode looks to be a fun festive celebration! Although . . . . I will really need to brace my heart because that preview of Teko in her lady like dress and bonnet practically caused my heart to burst right then and there! 😍 she is just too pure; her smile must be protected! |

| Who would have thought Katori-sensei could be such a dreamy girl. I personally find this side of her quite charming so I hope she can show it more frequently in the next episodes. Overall, good episode as usual but I must say Pikari and her sister don't look alike in the slightest xD |

| I like the episodes where the whole gang hangs out, including the hot teacher. I also like when Teko learns something new and grows from it. |
