| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Honey flash! Yup, our heroine trying to do the right thing again by putting monsters to their place. Not bad this episode. The action scenes looked flashy but damn, that red monster looked horrid. Honey seems to be also getting better at using her powers. I kinda like how catchy the music sounded this episode too. |

| Episode 2... Finally they're telling Honey's past... The action is so good ;__; This episode we see some good key animators again, Toya Oshima, Shinsaku Kozuma, Hironori Tanaka, Tatsuya Miki. I need to rewatch this episode! Also, I really like the relationship between Honey and Jill. Enemy, yet a close friend, I think? A recurring theme that I find Nagai's works such as Devilman. |
| So this time we got the backroundstory for Honey,think the ones who complained about that should be pleased now. Nice episode again. |

| Oh, although the new opening is noticeably weaker than the original, I practically get an orgasm, every time seeing it. Just the perfect combination of animation and disco, which reminds me of the times of Rosario + Vampire. In the rest, the second episode I also liked, there is something extremely fun in this mix of nostalgic silly tropes, fanservice and well-animated action. By the way, the relationship between Honey and Jill was should be ... so yuri-sh? |

| Pretty good episode. Honey's backstory is pretty much the same as the 70's version, even her first transformation is Hurricane Honey, just like in the original. I really like the fact that they didn't give his father a death monologue, I always hated that trope. When someone is stabbed like that, they don't have time to talk. The exposition scene was a bit long, but at least visually interesting,with different angles and specially Honey's transformations in the background. Honey and Sister Jill Genet make a great team. Definitely not the best anime this season, but surely the most underrated. |

| I shall be very amused if they go the yuri route with this incarnation. Perhaps Jill's plan is to seduce Honey and lure her to the dark side? A Honey honeytrap so to speak? Could be a good way to get a Bad Guys Win which seems like a Go Nagai thing. >_> |

| got to admit was not expecting honey's backstory this soon and I have to say it wasn't bad but the fight scenes could still use a little but of work. so now we know the names and designs for all of honey's transformations the one's I'm looking forward too are Idol, Misty and Armor. please tell me they didn't use real fire for the monster transformation effect because it looked so bad and out of place. | Good episode. We got to see Honey’s backstory and how she was created. Fights scenes are okay tho. I agree with some of the comments that this show is quite underrated. It’s not that great, but I do find it entertaining to watch. |

| So it's not a kids show but develops as one? I noticed "romance" as one of the genres, I dont know about the previous ones, but is really possible to have any romantic development in this show given the way it goes? I dont think the teachers making out occasionally should count as romance. |

| WTF is wrong with me???? WHY am I liking this show??? I rewatched the dumb intro twice on ep 1 and did it again on this one. =( |

| they toned down the fanservice it seems. the nostalgic art has its charm, though. |
