| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nice, I'm starting to like this OP song more than I had realized. I'm feeling the light competitive energy from this episode. Tsubasa is a character that gets the mood going and he is improving. One thing I find really interesting about the show is that it captures certain plays with a lot of impact. In particular, goals and blocks are highlighted to make them look memorable. Neat episode. This show isn't afraid to take risks with its players too and even adds a bit of blood. |

| Still liking this series, and david productions seem to be lowkey improving at actual character animation though the whole thing, not counting the op, is still relying on somewhat cheap tricks to look good. not that i dislike that, they do the same in JoJo and it's great but with those simpler character designs, they could go wilder with the expressiveness of their movement. Another small flaw i find to this series' visuals is that toshiyuki kato's directing is kind of inconsistent, or at least more than what he did in JoJo. There's still those brutal camera movements that feel like a fucking punch and some shots are pretty good at buildup but i wish it was more than just "some shots". Other than that, as i was saying in the beginning of the post it's still a nice series. 4/5 |

Episode one covered the entire chapter one and this one covered the entire chapter two, most chapters in the Captain Tsubasa manga are pretty long. I really liked the animation in this one, and the soundtrack is starting to grow on me as well, i just don't like that some scenes have really loud sound effects, and this seems to be common with that sound director guy sadly. |

| Another amazing episode! (Even though I think the story is more interesting after the introduction of Kojiro...) I loved the animation, the soundtrack, and the fact that they are following the manga. Waiting for the next episode!! (Oh, I eared in one of my country's TV channel that the first 26 episodes will animate the Kids' Dream arc, and the other 26 will introduce Ronaldo, Messi and another 'real' players. Is it true?) |

| I should've asked this question since episode 1, but is it just me or is there Digimon vibes in the opening theme song? I really don't know exactly why I'm thinking about Digimon after all, but the moment I heard the tone, it made me think about it. Is it a coincidence I find such similarity?? | Great episode again. I kinda wish there was a little more fluid animation for Tsubasa's dribbling but as long as they do it in the matches I'll be pleased I guess. Roberto's finally introduced and it was pretty cool to see Tsubasa try his best to replicate the overhead kick and he finally got in the end. :D Genzo's got himself competition now that he's seen what Tsubasa can do. I'm super excited to see Nankatsu vs Shutetsu again but before that. TAROU HYPE! He is next episode right? |

| Great episode. Nice little remake we got here. Surprised to see blood used in this anime considering it's for kids. Wakabayashi is such a whiny little bitch talking about "I don't accept this loss". Well you should because you totally lost that duel. So it seems Roberto knows Tsubasa's father. Wonder how. |

| Well, definitely better than the first episode. The animation was way better and the story seems to be settling down. However, the only problem is the music. The music is killing the anime on how bad it is! It doesn't fit for a bit in the series. I would reconsider compose it again. |
| Man... Tsubasa have a great talent passing through those guys with style. He isn't someone that gives up and that is why he is so talented and improves a lot. Roberto is also a interesting fellow despise being drunk all the time lmao. The rivalry between Tsubasa and Wakabayashi got stronger. The pacing was a bit slower compared to the first episode imo. |

I'm pretty sure though even I don't watch the episode (because of this I don't added any screen shot) and one of my friends told that to me but watch carefully, the formation is 4-5-2 but yeah it's not a game |
