| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- New OP song seems alright. I personally like both for the series. I really like the style of Sakura's battle outfit this episode in the new theme song. The red outlines along with the dress makes her look colorful. Also Meiling is back! Like good old times. I feel nostolgic this episode. Really hope Meilin also gets a more important role in the upcoming episodes. I'm still glad she officially exists in this new season. |

| The new opening was great. Sakura had a cute heart-of-cards-like outfit with a queen's crown! Like the previous opening, there was the theme of roses, this time they are red and prominent throughout the entire opening. Sakura, however, also mimicked movements like the turning dials of a clock though. Is time ticking, possibly toward a dramatic moment? On the other hand, the new ending was playful with Kero's daily life as the focus, having Spinel and Momo tag along. It gave me nostalgia for the first ending of the original series~ Overall, both the opening and ending sequences were good. === Meilin surprised Sakura with a visit! Wow, they really grew as friends if she decided to meet Sakura first out of everyone, and at the end of the school day! Yue also had a talk with Touya... Hmm... Kaito's clock also seems to be ticking towards a moment... |

| I would have loved that new ED theme without that sketchy new rabbit in it. I love Meiling... her growth is so wonderful. Even I thought I was half-asleep and seeing things when she first had her cat ears. |
| Great episode again. I liked the previous OP and ED more but this one is good too. Meilin!!! Glad to see her in person now. :D It was fun seeing Sakura and Meilin catch up with each other and cook some delicious gyouza. Yue spoke to Touya, there's some interesting development going on here. By far, the most intriguing thing is that events of the book that Akiho was reading seem to be directly linked to what Sakura experiences. Also just from the OP and ED, the suspicious bunny is pretty much confirmed as being another guardian which would imply that Kaito is one as well. |

| Ah nice new opening, yeah I had a feeling that pet toy of Akiho's would be a familiar, and of course the butler has something to do with all of this. Ah look who's back after all this time it's Meiling. Wow she sounds so mature now, nice exchange there between her & Kero. I was waiting for a Touya sneezing scene, Kaiju Sakura image was very funny. I was about to comment about why Meiling is becoming a cat but the next scene kinda makes sense of it all, the book Akiho is reading is magical and making things happen as she reads it. Nice new ending as well. |

Momo true form Eh, hairdryers. I used them when I was a child and had short hair, but now for the past nine years as an adult with 18" long hair, I just use a towel and let it air dry. Better for my hair and for my scalp. I plan to cut it soon though. |
| it seems like we're finally getting some plot progression in this arc, which is something we've been lacking for a while the part with Meiling with cat ears and tail was kinda bizarre lol I'm curious to see where its gonna go |
| A bit of plot progression, but the star was still Meiling. It's great to see her back seems like she's completely over Syaoran, which is good for her. The only time she and Kero agree on something is because of Sakura being a natural airhead. Next episode should be fun |

| New op! I was wondering when Meiling would show up. Everything seemed refreshing. |
| Haha! Meilin talking cantonese was funny and weird to hear (since I grew up with cantonese as third language). Her greeting was intelligible, but the other sentences... not so much.xD I'm happy that she is part of the series. I've always enjoyed her character in the first anime series even though she's not canon. I hope we get to see more of her. And more Shaolan, please! |

| Both the new opening and ending are great! Mei-Lin is truly the most mature out of all the younger characters in this anime, so I'm glad she's back. Loved how much she was teasing Sakura about Shaoran. I honestly like the anime more b/c it goes into more depth about Shaoran's background. It makes it obvious that moving to another country alone as a 12/13 year old is not normal. It's also nice just to get a mentioning of his family. He does come from a powerful magician family after all. It'd be nice if we got to see more of his family in the future. |

| Oh boy, I'm so happy and relieved right now. Sakura really had me worried for the past few episodes, it's great to hear from her that she do notices what's happening with Syaoran. It's also really nice to have more background information about him, since it was one thing I wish was explored more in the old anime and manga. I'm glad Meiling was given time to truly shine and she took the best out of Sakura this week, I'm very satisfied (and nekomimi os always cute). Also we got a briefing insight on Akiho's book and that reminded me of the episode that had a card that was a book, I don't know what was the name in english, something to do with creativity. The opening and ending revealed what we all knew already, the rabbit is alive. This will sound weird but she gives this brothel's mama feelings lol. The preview for the neste episode site looked intriguing, I can't wait to watch it. |

| The new OP was good but I feel they shouldn't have used Momo in it even if we all new she was more than a stuffed animal I still would have liked seeing it first during the episode, the same with the ED. Now let's see what the book really does. |

| The new opening for the second-half of this series is so beautiful, I love it. And it even showed us that Akiho's doll really is a familiar like Kero and Spinnel. It'll be fun to see when she comes into play because we haven't seen her interactions at all with Akiho or Kaito in their house. It's nice to see Meiling again. Sure, she's an anime exclusive character and essentially a filler for the series, but I enjoyed her presence in the original Cardcaptor Sakura. |

| Best episode ever! I love meilin so much 😭😭 I'm begging happy she actually appears in the series. She looks so cute. Especially with those cat ears. so excited she'll be in the next episode too. Also glad to see more momo. She looks adorable. |

| I knew that usagi thing was like Kero and Spinel!! Even though I find her desing kinda outstanding if its compare to Kero and Spin's, which are more basics ones. Well, first episode of the second cour and it was mostly a filler one but I really don't care, I was expecting Meinyan-chan Meiling's arrival for a couple of eps. and now, I won't say I didn't enjoy it. I really love her character so this ep. was great. And related to the plot... well, almost everyone knows that something important will happen (Touya included) but it's not the right time to answer questions and tell "that" to Sakura, who is the center of this upcoming event... I hope we could find out what is going on in one or two eps. more. |

| No Clear cards this time, but we had a good time with Meiling! LOLZ she's very used to mingle with Keroberos! that aside: Suzuki, Minori is really growing because I noticed that she's producing more quality OPs and EDs! 4/5. |

| I really liked the talk between Sakura and Meiling... the thing about Syaoran... until now, was seemed that Sakura was completely oblivious about it ... (and is pretty obvious that he is keeping something in secret). it's good to see that Sakura actually already notice, and just chose to not press him to talk about it |

The Clow Card was Create and it was one of the best episodes in the old anime XD But I'm not sure Akiho's book is the counterpart card to Create. What if the book itself is narrating the events of this arc and producing all the events linked to the Clear Cards? |

| New OP and ED, I liked them, but first ones were better. The animation was a bit sloppy this episode... I couldn't avoid noticing that. Nice to see Meiling and Sakura having a sleepover, so cute. The ears and the tail! LOL I'm worried about that Worried Syaoran of next episode. I wonder if this story will connect with Tsubasa or not. We'll see. |

So I take it CLAMP realize the anime is way more successful than the Manga and finally made her canon. Also I am very confused by this episode. Meling said Li's mother is the head, but she also said her mother is also the head of the family??? Very confused. |

It's funny, because in the first anime series they were using mandarin, not cantonese. I guess, they realized that cantonese is the first language in HK. I've got the impression that Meilin isn't really popular but I'm glad that she's still part of the new series. I'm confused about that as well, it's prob a fault on the producer's part I guess. I think, Li's mother is the head of the family. |
