| Man, I'm loving this new season of Precure so much. All the buildup for Cure Etoile was worth it for me, the yellow Cures always tend to be my favorite. I think someone mentioned this in the last discussion, but I really like how they didn't rush in just one episode where Homare deals with her past issues and then realized "oh I have friends (even though I just met these people) and can ACHIEVE MY DREAMS," but instead, Toei gave her a few episodes to really struggle and come to terms with the conflict that has been haunting her so much. It was a lot more realistic to me and it made me connect with Homare/Etoile much more. Seeing her finally be able to fly (and I love how she looks like a flight attendant) after becoming a Precure was a great end to the episode! I know the playing-the-OP-for-emotional-effect is so overused, but I admit that it brought a wee tear to my eye. I liked the fight from last episode much more, but honestly, this episode is just another great one in a so-far-so-good season of Precure! Fure fure, Etoile! |

| fun and cute episode albeit bit of a downgrade from last one in terms of fight animation. Etoile's attack reminds me of Lemonade's attack with yellow chain binding the enemy. Her proportion at the end of transformation make her look very modelesque, those legs go on forever! Loved all the hand holdings and blushes and that face rub with Hug-tan at the end! so cute!!! |
| I have to agree with the others who said the resolution wasn't as satisfying as last week's climax. And even though Homare is my favourite of the girls, she has my least favourite Cure design. It just really bothers me that they made her hair grow out so much in the transformation. Also, does anyone have any ideas about Lulu? Could she be Cure #4? She doesn't really fit in with the rest of Evil Co. imo and the Precure items all have pink, blue, yellow, and purple stones on them so.. coincidence? I don't think so. |
| Good episode introduction for Cure Etoile. Scary looking Oshimaeda this time, big and black.. it looks like a demon... I guess it symbolize the trauma that Homare experienced during her accident. Friends help her overcome the trauma of course... and she's a part of the team now. Homare precure form is so tall.. she looks like a model. :) Would this precure series follow the old formula where villains that get defeated too many times are disposed of? Hmm.. |

Yeah, a bit of a downgrade from the previous episode fight animation. However... after experiencing the boring "fight" scenes of Kirakira... I'm thankful for the fact that we even have some decent action here at Hugtto. So I forgive them for the downgrade. :) Oh, it does look similar to Cure Lemonade attack. But Etoile use only one hand for her move.. maybe because she's more physically strong. |

| Etoile is pretty much the most mature looking precure of all time, she could easily pass for a mid-20's adult |
