Quite a sad episode. Hopefully it doesn't have a depressing ending where Ai disappears and Yota never dates Moemi

Poor Ai-chan :s I really hope he'll manage to get a hold of Ai-chan and perhaps actually get his feelings straightened out! Either way let's see what the last episode has to offer us!

Damn, when the episode ended I just sat and watched the ending song. It was sad and depressing episode, yet I still hope the anime would have at least a bitter-sweet ending (and not straight sad).

dammit, I know that 90s animes didnt have very big budgets and thats probably why this only has 6 episodes, but I want sooo much more from this, atleast 12 episodes.

Actually 90's anime had bigger budgets than anime of today. There were much more OVA originals and OVA adaptations of Manga than today. And TV-Anime usually had more than 30 episodes, unlike today, when most anime are 13 or 26 episode long.

Who told you that 90s anime had less budget?

I'd think that the use of traditionally drawn animation vs the present mix of digital and CGI animation would also play a factor, but there are a bunch of other things that also play into that.

it's sweet on him to have such a genuine interest in drawing, even if i'm expecting almost the worst for the series finale at this point considering everything that has happened in this episode. Cool second appearance in a row in live action form from a person that worked into the show, thinking about it more it really seems a thing of the 90's that extended even beyond japanese borders (and even into them, still recall Golden Boy creator's animated cameo in its series finale, that also counted the exact small number of 6 episodes)
