Kota Nozomi, the author of Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de (When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace), announced on his Twitter account on Thursday that the light novel will end in its 13th volume, which is scheduled to be published on January 13.

Nozomi is penning a new light novel with illustrations by Yuunagi titled Isekai Tennis Musou: Tennis Player Toka Iu Nazo no Otoko ga Chotto Tsuyosugirun Desu Kedo!, with its first volume planned to be released on the same day.

SB Creative began publishing supernatural comedy light novel under its GA Bunko imprint with illustrations by 029 (Hataraku Maou-sama!) in June 2012. A manga adaptation by Kousuke Kurose was serialized in Monthly Comp Ace between September 2013 and February 2015.

Trigger adapted the light novel into a 12-episode television anime in Fall 2014. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime in North America and released it on home video in August 2016.

I guess there won't be a sequel anime. Oh, well. I really liked the anime.

I liked it better than most other generic harem animes with obnoxious oblivious lead male characters. The dialogues, art and characters were quite well executed too; was looking forward to season 2 but I guess it was never meant to be.

A very good series and it'll be a shame that it's over but I wasn't in the least bit surprised about this. The series' releases have been basically grinding to a halt recently, which seems to quite often act as a prelude to a series finishing.

The author's next work doesn't sound like something I'd enjoy but whatever.
There is no such thing as shit taste. Only idiots who think everyone should have the same taste as they do.

It makes me sad because I enjoyed the anime adaption of the series, in fact its probably one of my favorite Trigger works (mainly because of how enjoyable the series was plus the Hayami Saori performance was fantastic).

Oh well, I do want a second season of this if its possible.

Wow another harem LN ending. I do know that there were 2 other harem LN ended last week. Are more and more harem LN series gonna be taken over by isekai LN? Hmm....

But I am gonna miss this series and season 2 is probably never. Though I am curious as to who will win in the end. If I have to guess, it's probably the main character. Because it's either that or a harem ending.

Probably the dere bitch again its pretty typical and maybe open ending at best.

I don't mind it is end long running LN that doesn't have a world building should never take too much volume because it'll bloat.
And most of the god tier one will only take 9-13..

Shame that the author make a new Isekai which seems like a slice of life Tennis stuff against a fucking demon lord.
Oh god..
