Any complaint for the part of the seiyuus or the Monogatari related stuff (though I would have liked seeing Owari 2 win something, but, well). But, lmao, Fate/Apocrypha, really? It wasn't the most hated Fate stuff in Japan xD I cannot wait for the "where's Made in Abyss?" reply. Even Isekai Shokudou managed to rank xD Also, I'm genuinely surprised Odasaku of BSD managed to clasify in Best Male Character cathegory. Japs had good taste after all. |

I know these lists shouldn't be taken seriously under any circunstances but who did Yuuichirou Umehara even voice to make it into this? |

I was surprised that Miyu-Miyu got to 2nd place this year (nice surprise, though). I'm happy about some of the other seiyuus (both male and female) up there, too. |

I was going to ask the same question, I like him and I was really surprised to see him here. I thought it should be his role on Shingeki no Bahamut Virgin Soul... Is there an order for the seiyuu list? |

I figured maybe it was for his role on Shingeki no Bahamut Virgin Soul. He might have had other major roles during the October 2016 to September 2017 window but that's the first one that comes to mind in terms of recent material. I'm genuinely surprised to see Isekai Shokudou on that best anime category. I enjoyed the show but didn't think it was even that popular. I thought Made in Abyss would make it for sure. I have no problems with Miyuki Sawashiro being at the top of the female seiyuu category (assuming these lists are ranking them from first to last) but I think these categories should be renamed to "most popular" rather than "best." This is clearly a popularity contest so even if something wasn't the best, it'll still win because it was popular. Eh, but what the hell do I know, I'm just a stupid gaijin. |

People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime. Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait. MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol. |

how did Levi make the top 5 best character when he had like 5 minutes screen time in the whole of s2? Goes to show you how popular he really is. No doubt he is going to probably top the list next year, since he will have a bigger role in s3. |

I got nothing against this guy but : How come Levi is even in the top 10 male character when he had like 3 minutes of screen time during the 2nd season ? Pretty surprised that Re:Creators and isekai shokudou have made it to the top, even though i haven't watched the later, seemed pretty boring. EDIT : Seems like someone thought the same while i was writing this lol. |

Given the high TV ratings that it gets in Japan, I'm surprised that Boku no Hero Academia was not mentioned anywhere on this list at all (aside from Bones studio). I have nothing against the female seiyuu, but I'm surprised that Yoko Hikasa isn't part of the list considering the large number of roles she has taken this year. At the very least she deserves some recognition. Oh well, maybe next year if High school DxD 4 airs next year... And Chomusuke...a mascot character... |

From all the list(anime) I think the OK was recreator(for chance of 2nd season which is much needed) and cant say about bsds2(yes it was my fav but haven't reach the full shounen level yet!) But the rest, especially Fake/Apocrypha, must be joke! But anyway, there is no Hand Shaker anime in this list though. Also nice to see Takuya Igarashi won the best director and so does BONES got the best studio award. |

During the October 2016 to September 2017 he had 3 main roles + 8 supporting ones. Animes: Shingeki no Bahamut (main), Magic-Kyun! Renaissance (main), Gi(a)rlish Number, Kabuki-bu! (main), Starmyu, Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e, Trickster, Tiger Mask W, Mobile Suit Gundam: IBO, Ikemen Sengoku and Chiruran. (maybe even more) This list is a lot about general popularity of person and he is becoming one of most popular voice actors lately. I think he is the one of those with most roles in year. This season FALL, he has 8 roles and most of them are rather important. |

Ew, why does Ordinal Scale have so many rewards and such? The animation and sound was nice, but the characters are still trash as usual, and so many plot holes. |

Why did a shit show like fate/aprocrypha win this award when there were atleast a dozen shows better than that.seriously, this fate series is an insult to fate zero and fate stay night in terms of story, art, characters, music and animation. |

It's not about the plot holes, it's about the show doing the same thing it always did. I wonder why do they never get tired of the same "princess in distress" plotline over and over again. |

It pains me to see Rakugo Shinju not being on the list, AGAIN. it pains me that no one here mentionned that, AGAIN. But what surprised me the most is that Boku no Hero did not even get a mention on that list. (Don't get me wrong, I am not a fan of the series but it was pretty popular here). Ow and no Spot for Morgana? (P5 the daybreakers). But then again this is japan we are talking about and it's known that our tastes differ. |

Ok, i was expecting the shit taste, but there is something that is NOT forgivable, the fact that some of these anime (Like Yuri on Ice) aren't from this year, like, at all. WTF Japan... The lack of taste kind of pains me tbh, i can understand different tastes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but this is too much, like seriously... But heh, at least only few of them were shit tier, in fact most were average with a couple good ones. If i saw Hand Shakers and/or The Reflection on there then i'd lose all hope in this community but at least it's not :). Also, based on the Male characters top i assume most of the votes (At least for this part) were females. |
