| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I enjoyed the first episode of the OVA. It was a refreshing break from the current arc in the manga. The awaited ping-pong scene anime was worth the wait.All we need now is Megumi and Souma visiting the kindergarten.  I really enjoyed Souma, Kurokiba, and Hayama's shenanigans and how fun they are together. Too bad Takumi disappeared for almost the entire episode or else he could've joined them for fishing. It was short but Megumi and Erina's bonding time was nice. Overall 10/10 for me |

I mean, Shokugeki has quite a few top tier girls and for me it's impossible to choose the best one. But I'm still a bit disappointed how this turned out. Pretty high i'd say. Around 7-9. The question is more like when, and not what if. |

| If I didn't read about Irina's new VA I wouldn't have known about it. The new VA sounds exactly the same at least from how I remember it. I actually looked back to see if Takumi and Isami were really there in that scene and they were! on the edge of the screen I can see their hands lol. |

| It was the typical onsen episode, but was enjoyable nonetheless. Mostly the part where Souma, Hayama and Ryo went to fish the "river monster" Jeremy Wade style. Wish that part would had been longer. The segment after the ending was very creepy, but hilarious at the same time. Erina's new VA is also nice. |

| Shokugeki no Souma is a cooking anime. The last 4 minutes lol, I think that they are done in the style of Isobee Monogatari from Shounen Jump, I might be wrong tho. |

| Pretty decent episode. It's definitely following the lines of Ni no sara, Souma seems to have distanced himself from the Polar Star Dormitory group in favour of becoming a better chef. Surprisingly, there was little to no cooking shown in this OVA. I guess it's because these OVAs are supposed more lighthearted, focusing on the characters having fun. Wish we could see what happened after Alice forced her way into the springs at the end lol. Lastly that ending was such a troll lmao, from the crappy art to the off-tune ED. E: I managed to sub it - timing isn't perfect + google translate but it's watchable. Let me know if you want it. |

| That was really a good episode. Ping Pong match was awesome, the fishing trio hilarious and there was also some decent fanservice. The last part was a bit weird, but whatever. 8/10 |

Loved the fanservice with Erina, Alice and Hisako <3 Great episode overall and surprised to hear that Erina has a new VA in this OVA, didn't notice her voice changed until I went to check again WOW @_@ |

| Hisako Kanemoto's Erina is probably the closest you can get to Rise Taneda's Erina. Rise just has that little extra in her voice. You can definitely hear it when listening to them one after the other, but most people probably won't notice the change. Kurokiba taking his bandana on and off was great haha. Looking forward to the characters introduced in the next episode! |

| That ping pong battle was the best part. I really like this side of Megumi! I really enjoyed this rivalry triagnle and Tadokoros excellent navigation skills. + That ending (never would've expected that ancient drawing artstyle in this series) xD |

| how to do onsen episode right - no peeking the girl's bath oh how i've missed shokugeki no souma, brilliant episode. I love all the faces Souma made in this episode. The Omake at the end was great too, though the censored brown thing really makes me think it's poop lol |
