Ahh Vicotorique beeing selfish at the beginning was cute. This episode brought her and Kujou closer to each other, felt a little fillerish, though.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

Great episode. I swear though, Kujo can be as dense as a harem protagonist at times. It's so clear that both Victorique and Avril like him. Also that scene where Victorique dropped the tea was gold.

Solved the 2nd puzzle faster than Victorique :D
Liked the episode, SoL elements are much better than mysteries in this show imo.

After 12 full episodes with some pretty good mystery and detective work I think the most frustrating and outrageous part of the show is how utterly and implausibly subservient and compliant Kazuya is to Victorique. Time and time again I have been dumbfounded by his complete lack of shame, his bottomless stupidity and his inability to just say "No!" to her. I mean, it's even worse than watching Senjougahara verbally abusing Araragi in xxxMonogatari. At least there was some romance and sexual tension between them.

By contrast the "relationship" between Victorique and Kazuya is not just unbalanced, it is completely one-sided. Victorique is the boss, constantly taking and taking and taking from Kazuya, who is her selfless slave that gets absolutely nothing in return. Kazuya is not just a poor excuse of a man, he is poor excuse of a human being, period. Which is strangely incompatible with this culture, particularly of that era.

I get that Victorique has been emotionally and physically abused and isolated by her father, and partly by her older brother, and her behavior might be the result of said abuse; a kind of defence mechanism perhaps. Her behavior can be excused (if not explained), but the behavior of Kazuya cannot. The guy appears to have no limits! He never "snaps"! Even when he got a bit angry and left in this episode for the sea he changed his mind at the last moment to be with Victorique. Again. At the ... school. During summer vacation.

Kazuya is one of the lamest and most gutless anime characters of all time; he might just be the worst I've ever seen. With such a lame "lead" it is difficult to "invest" in this anime or even continue watching it..

Kazuya Kujo is a pathetic simp. I honestly never expected that an anime with an incompetent mc like him would get such a high score. The way Victorique treats him like a doormat is annoying, but the way he takes it is nearly unbearable. I don’t understand how people recommend this as a good ROMANCE anime when their relationship is crap.

I cannot for the life of me understand why Victorique is so popular: she's a selfish, entitled brat who treats Kazuya like shit and doesn't seem to intend on improving any time soon. I have no idea why he puts up with her, given how obnoxious she is. At the very least, she doesn't (often) physically abuse him, but that's a really low bar to clear. Honestly, I wish he'd actually decided to go to the sea with Avril this episode: at least there would have been some consequences to Victorique's selfishness.

More and more, I wonder why I'm even watching this. Most of the mysteries are very poorly written, relying on hugely implausible leaps in logic and facts that are never properly conveyed to the viewer, and the romance is pretty terrible too.

Cool chill episode but I would have 100% gone with Avril and tapped that.

I really want to like this but Kazuya is so pathetic. Everything else is great, but Kazuya holds this show back so much…

We get to see more of Kujou's past, her sister is cute. I hope we'll get more story development on him.
Victorique was great again in this episode, especially at the end, though I still much prefer her dark costume.
Come on man, where is that Noragami season 3 masterpiece. We want it, Bones!

Men I am getting sick and tired of Kujou, he's nothing more than a weak, useless, waste of time and space character, a manservant to that trashy, annoying asf wanna be Sherlock Holmes loli.

I'm starting to hate more and more Victorique by the day/episode.
Me every time I hear the word "reparations": 🤣🤣🤣

Victorique give me the same vibe as Taiga from Toradora, but Victorique seems more bearable, probably because she's a more mild version of her and smarter....

That dude must be a masochist who enjoys getting humiliated. Instead of going with Avril who's the nicest girl around, he rather spends his summer with someone who treats him like shit...
