| I was wondering, where does everybody buy their anime and manga from? I'm getting sick of downloading so I want some original and 'real' copies not just some ripoff from people who download it from the net and burn them into DVDs. I heard by buying the original DVDs you support the maker so I'm trying to support my favorite anime makers. Same goes for manga, I think it's better to read them from books instead of the internet. So does anybody know where to buy anime and manga in Kuwait? ... Remember I want some original copies not ripoffs. Thanks. |

| I always buy manga from amazon or the manga publisher, and about anime DVDs you cant buy the original one cuz they don't have subtitles so I don't recommended to buy it but you can buy the dual audio ones from the internet so you can choose which language do you want. Not sure if there is a shop that sells original in kuwait, only places like Virgin and shops like it. |
| Yeah, I know about Virgin but they are really rare there. And I can't use Amazon since I don't have a credit card yet. |

FinestX you can find translated versions of Shonen Jump and Shojo Beat in Al-Manara bookstore in Al-rabae complex in Salmiya, Salim Al-Mubarak street. If you take a close look around the place, you'll find hidden translated novels there. You could always ask the staff to reserve the above mentioned mangas for you or bring in more magazines and books other than those and put them in a box specially for you. I'm not sure if they still apply this system but make sure you ask them. Long ago, I used to have a folder with the magazines I want in it and some of them weren't sold else where and were brought exlusively for me. I haven't checked in other places but make sure you check Al-Muthana bookstore since it's the largest bookstore in Kuwait. Don't bother with Jareer. Al-re7ab do have mangas but due to censorship, they sell them at the basement floor. Ask the salesmen about the place where you could "swap" your ps3 games for a new game and they'll lead the way. It's in a place like a cavern! There's a whole new world down there. You'll find posters and figurines as well. |

Well some of my favorite anime were categorized ecchi but if ecchi ratio is more than story ratio then it's instant drop for me. That was Ichigo's case. I wonder how they got it there but someone must have ordered it. |
| Have you guys heard of a place called Taz or Hobby Japan in Al-rehabd complex? I read somewhere that they sell manga and comic books for reasonable prices. I heard that Hobby Japan was kinda expensive. |
| Bu-9ali7? ^^^ wayed '3alee sima3t. Tara ma yeswa agi6 baizat 3ala action figures o stuff. I'm not a serious collector anyways. I'm actually thankful for having streaming websites otherwise I would have stopped watching anime. Also, the number of anime I'd actually buy are very few. |
