I've seen a lot of people saying Nino sounds awful and even implying that Saori Hayami, a professional seiyuu, is unable to sing despise her endless recorded songs and voice acting jobs.

Here's a little of what Nino, with a more mature voice, will be able to do in the future beyond this short anime.

So that means that her singing is bad atm but will get better in the story once she gathers experience?

It means at the beginning of the story she was only a girl with a strong voice and absolutely no vocal training whatsoever. When she joins Inohari, she starts singing lessons and starts to understand the complexity of music.

Even though Nino's voice at the early episodes wasn't bad, it was just raw, her tones carried a lot of emotion and I think that's exactly what the producers wanted. A lot of people, with ears only used to autotune and overly-trained vocals, disliked this.

Well, I just wanted to show that this anime perfectly captured the evolution her voice is supposed to go through in the many songs they recorded.

I live in Japan, where that video is region locked. Do you have the name of the song?? I really want to hear what her mature voice will sound like.

@zaverix
Sample from Official Warner Brothers (Japan) YouTube Channel (if that video above me still doesn't work for you)

消失の空 (Shoushitsu no Sora) is the song included in the Drama CD that bundles in Vol.13 of manga released today on June 20, 2017.

Thanks! This one worked. Her voice does sound more mature, but it feels like this lost all of the emotion from othee songs...
