Why can't Nanami see Mizuki and Mikage again?

In previous episodes, Tomeo (as a familiar) was clearly seen as a fox-human creature by normal people. In this sense, why can't Nanami see Mizuki after she became a normal human? Also when Nanami first met Mikage, she was also just a human. So why is it that she is no longer able to see him again after becoming human (again)?
