The way it looks it does not seem to have any romance in it, nor is it tagged romance. Looks like it would still be a good watch though.

One of the thing you learn from this series is that anime people don't have love lives. Seriously, as far as I recall only old Sugie had something like a wife - an in-between animator he had married back in the Middle Ages. Then there was the director's ex, and Taro's delusions, and that's it. All the girls are hot as a fuse but apparently their contracts have a clause forbidding relationships, like they do with idols. Anyway, that may explain why they are always on edge.
