Question about Air in Summer episodes

I'm going to watch this anime and I know about those two bonus episodes.

1. Are they worth watching?
2. Should they be watched after the 12 original episodes or somewhere between?

Did you like the episodes that were set in the past? If so it's definitely worth watching. If not, well I'd watch them for the complete experience ... but they're not necessary really. They mostly fill in details that were missing for a more complete picture of what happened back then.

I'd just watch in air order, so watch In Summer after Air.
