| Well this sure was a very lovely start, such a relaxing atmosphere and in general the characters seem to be quite solid! Really nice touch to be honest but there does seem to be quite a sad part in the whole atmosphere, bittersweet I'd say! |

| So i was already very reluctant to start this series since in my opinion it looked a little bit too much like Barakamon, don't get me wrong, Barakamon is one of my favorite series ever, but i'm not sure about watching something so similar, so i was quite scared. As if the whole general setting wasn't similar enough, when Poko appeared hidden in Souta's house it was too much like Naru appearing in Handa's house...but well the whole tanuki theme is a step into difference so i'm digging it. Overall, i like the vibe and the background music and the overall art in this series. Looking forward to see what's next. Side note: during the entire episode i thought Poko was a girl u_u lol |

| This is so Barakamon. Even Souta looks so much like Handa. Haha. Then Poko looks like Naru who's a shapeshifting tanuki. Haha. So cute. Good first episode. Apparently, Souta belongs to a family who makes famous udon, but he doesn't want to be an udon maker like his dad because he's being bullied. Typical reason. Will watch more of this anime. Loved the OP. <3 |

| Agree with those who mentioned the resemblances to both Barakamon and Amaama to Inazuma. Hopefully, this series will be more like the former instead of the latter. Heartwarming start overall. Poko is absolutely adorable and the bond he and Souta will eventually form will surely be pretty moving. |
