I'm kinda confusing with the story. Of course it is childish, but sometimes they are trying make serious story, but the reason for conflict is too ridiculous, so I don't know how to respond it except wearing wry smile watch this. :D

Just got one new song, it is good.

The story was really stupid and I mean that in the worst way possible. I love PriPara, but this movie was a complete mess after the first ten minutes and was near unbearable to watch. I gave it a 3 because there were a few okay moments and Aroma was funny, but the story shifted between characters to much and the story was explained so badly.

Bad movie.

Yeah, scene when Mikan split the sea is funny and when Aroma show up like shounen manga protagonist at the end.

I actually really liked this movie. If you don't take the story very seriously it's pretty entertaining to watch.

This ship is canon and no one can convince me otherwise.

Really enjoyed this movie. It was loads more fun than I would have originally anticipated.
It's this kind of ridiculousness that really makes PriPara for me.

be warned this will be long:

okay not even going to try to be nice or sugarcoat it this movie in no way felt like a movie but rather 3 maybe 4 episodes stitched together with a poorly done special. I do have to give it some credit it at least does have an original soundtrack (sort of) and at least it does have a plot(?) even though the plot is rather stupid then again most episodes in pripara have some level of stupidity tied to them but it is to be expected.

I was genuinely hopping for an actual plot not the same old "system error" we've seen time and time again through out the series and of course the only way to fix the issue is by doing a performance (how original, again been done through out the entire series). I was hopping for something more exciting, heartfelt, dramatic, you know what an actual movie might have but the more I thought about it the more I realized that's a stupid idea and would make the movie a little longer in order for it to work.

so in a way I'm okay with how this movie was done it's just the way it was done that needed some work. for example the use of characters you can clearly tell/see which characters were the real focus of the movie or at least supposed to be and which characters were simply added for filler purposes and which characters they were forced to add (this one's easy it's the characters you don't realize are missing until they show up again way later in the movie). also the keep trying to remind you that falulu is dying but it fails badly since the movie then immediately goes to a happy funtime scene.

okay now for the fun parts loved the stereotypes although I was weirded out by the american one mostly in the fact that all the girls which keep in mind that a majority of the girls in pripara are supposed to be less than 13 years of age (if the anime is anything to go by) instead all look like grown women in 80's fashion, some even look like they could pass off as mom's which really confused me. the other thing that I liked but still confused me is the meganii's and meganee's they had no care (well meganee anyway) for what was happening it felt more like "yeah this happens a lot so were used to it". I have to say I enjoyed the different types of meganee's and meganii's the world of pripara has to offer, the mummy and jet lee meganee are my favorite one's and let's not forget goat pajama grandpa. Chanko getting the spotlight for once was hilarious I laughed so hard at the size comparison between her and her opponent this had no "is" the best part of the whole movie and I mean that.

Now how could they have improved this movie? well first of remove the unnecessary characters and by that I mean remove ajimi she's only there to be her usual annoying self, I'm almost certain that she was added only for the art stuff since prance is full of art but since the movie decided to go a different route she ended up a wasted and unnecessary character. next stick to one story as I mentioned earlier it feels like 3 episodes and a poorly done special stitched in to this movie the reason for that is the obvious cutaways it does every 5 to 10 minutes. where it focuses on the main story for 5 (if not less than that) minutes before switching over to something else entirely whether it's reenacting moses, encountering aliens, or doing a cage match it doesn't really mesh well.

The story itself needed to be reworked but the more I think about how to make it work the more I realize that they would have to change certain character personalities and I doubt the audience or fans would like that. I mean I rewatched the entire movie again before typing this and really only about 38 (if not less than that) minutes are actual relevance to the movie or what the movie was supposed to be while the rest is either filler or pieces of episodes and specials they never finished and just reworked it to make it go with the movie. to understand what I mean just watch the first 7 minutes of the movie then skip to any scene with falulu then skip all the way to the 40 minute mark and that's the whole movie but really even I think they just gave up towards the end and said okay now this happens because who cares at this point. plus after rewatching it I noticed that basically gloria and ploria must always be separated (or not be starving) or they could cause a massive system error which again the pripara system tends to suffer from a lot.

yet despite everything I mentioned the bads more than outweigh the good I still give this a 7 which it really doesn't deserve but because it feels more like an episode rather than a movie is probably the reason why I can tolarate this movie and give it a 7. now if anyone and I mean anyone would like to hear or rather read how they should have done this movie or at the very least improved it just say so but be warned it will be longer than this and I do mean longer than this.

funny how some people here analyze this with a serious face. this movie is pripara, just like the series. it's meant to be a pile of fun and it sure was. i enjoyed every second of it and it might just be my favorite movie lol

I guess "big boned" Idol works too....

BTW, Chibi Faruru is still super cute, I want one as a plush.

Also, the ending Credit Fashion Show was interesting, they had variants of main character models in different hairstyle, eye color an accessories wearing all the clothes and dresses they had since episode 1 up to this movie. (too bad the series stopped subbing...)

Well, I waited until I got to a stage when I had seen this show subbed up until the end of season 2 to watch this, and it was definitely worthwhile. What a weird and wonderful ride!

I loved the performances, Dressing Pafe doing their own version of Dream Parade and Chanko OMG was fantastic! I really appreciated how they included some of the more memorable bg girls like Eiko, Nanami, Nao and Ran and the movie was just brilliantly hilarious the whole way through. Even Ajimi, who I normally can't stand was ok in this movie. She also gets the moment of the film for falling through the stage!!

Fun show, don't take it too seriously and its well worth a watch, now onto season 3!!

Maybe a little random plot, but I enjoyed the movie and all the performances. I love PriPara songs. :)
