| what a pleasant surprise! i haven't read such enjoyable classic shoujo manga in a long time. the characters seem promising and original. character design and setting- very interesting as well. now i just pray there is no love triangle and that the series focuses on the 2 main characters falling in love and progressing in their relationship. i would also love to see more of her skills in action rather than just romance definitely going to continue reading this |

| This looks really good! I hesitated to pick it up because the art was a little too "cutesy" but the writing is good. Love the historical setting, and the mildly supernatural premise. I agree, I'd love to see a slow romance as well. Looking forward to seeing where this story goes. |

| Ah~ what a refreshing story. Something I needed after so much heavy theorizing because other series. The premise is simple, but entertaining enough to get your attention. Nice and clean designs, and the stories, even though they are easy to follow, also makes you pay attention to the details, so you can also play detective with them. I like this. |
| Agreed! The art is what attracted me to this manga. Kanoko looks like Anri Sonohara (the bob cut, the round glasses, the big eyes!) to me so I can't help imagine a what-if Anri-had-this-power situation. I think Kanoko would know better than to outright say someone is lying, that she'd be more tactful than that. Or can she not help but blurt out that, that person is lying? |

I think that the scene with Taro-chan's lie, she just felt so grateful for those people that she couldn't help herself and said it right out to help them and kinda of "pay" for their kindness towards her. This series looks nice, a different ability is making the MC's life harder and not the generic ability to see youkai like in many other series. |

Oh no, I can understand Kanoko's feelings in that scene. I was referring to when she was younger. People would see her as strange the first few times but then she'd learn quickly not to carelessly say "You're lying!" all the time. Then maybe only her family would know her secret instead of her entire village, straining her relationship with her parents, causing her to leave. This would make for an even more emotional resolution in chapter 22-23. |
