| Hi all. I have a question that has been keeping me awake at night theorizing. Does anybody here have any trustworthy evidence on the status of my favorite anime "Girls und Panzer". I really hope that it is not over, but I know all good things must come to an end, so if it dies out, I understand. It seems wrong though for a great anime to just die off at the height of it's life. So can somebody help me sleep by giving me some good info on the status of Girls und Panzer? Will I get to see my wife Momo again? |

| ^they make the big bad higher ups the main villain, a super tank team is hired to beat Oarai, lazy talented girl gets her passion boiling cause she saw Miho and decides to beat them, Maho gets kidnapped etc... The story doesn't matter much, just the bare minimum would do and the rest is the girls and tanks. |

| I think you need to calm down. It's better to wait for them to take their time to come up with a good storyline to continue the franchise and not to rush it just to have content out there but the quality is compromised and the reception is not as good as the TV series and Movie. Good things come to those who wait. If you really want more GuP content why don't you read the GuP manga that came out for the series. For me, they just explored the plot of "what if MEXT guy didn't honor the verbal promise he did with the student council during the TV series?". Besides, for me, it's not a true retread of the TV series since MEXT followed through with Oarai school closing and the Oarai vs. Uni Team match was to take back their school from total closure. While the movie ended nicely, the TV series and Movie hinted a sequel hook for a probable continuation: They just needed to construct a good story out of it if they plan to do it. If the movie is really the end. I'm still happy that it ended on a really high note especially since the movie has already grossed ¥2,315,264,894 from 1,355,313 tickets sold on its 40th weekend at the Japan Box Office as of August 21, 2016. http://girls-und-panzer.at.webry.info/201608/article_6.html The GuP BD+DVD has sold 222,103 units in Japan so far. | Thanks all. I really hope there is a second season or something, and I am really banking on the world tournament to provide more material. Thank you zenjambu for the sites and such. really helped me out. I have heard rumors that they are still producing manga, and I know that manga becomes a show sometimes,but they are only rumors. At this point, I would be satisfied with slice of life series with battles every now and then. as long as they take Girls und Panzer as far as it will go. |
