Want to read the manga but don't know where to start since I finished the series

I finished with the three seasons a while ago and was wondering where the anime left off in the manga. I really want to continue the story but in the manga way. I already gave the story a try in the light novels way but I'm not a fan of light novels.

the manga came after the anime so you're going to have to wait a while if you don't want to read the LN. :/

So, if I understand, the manga is really faithful to the original Light Novel. Also, just wondering does 1 Manga Volume = 1 LN Volume ? Just really need to know, I'm gonna start the animated series but I've heard High School DxD BorN was mostly original content (like Slayers Try).

Yeah, Born was about 50% original content but the next season (Hero) is going to be faithful to the LN.
For the manga, the ratio is about 2 manga volumes per LN volume, it covered up to half of LN vol 5 (out of 24).

Thank you for the reply sir ! Still, I wished the LN was officially translated. I'm starting working with a french team for an abridged series. I look forward to it.
