I think it's so god damn funny, realistically there would be no war between these two countries because the nukes would start flying.

Nukes make these "tattoos" irrelevant.

that's like saying nuke makes rifles irrelevant. In this war for oil and capitalism, nuke is a no no, cause it'll damage the local resources that can be used for money. Otherwise, the entire middle east would be showered with atomic bombs already. If this taboo tattoo is real, they would be very useful for the navy seals in espionage to assassinate enemy leaders and instill chaos in foreign lands.

If you want to bring this anime in comparison with realism then think about this. If America launches a nuke on Japan what would happen? Russia ain't gonna watch and wait...
