| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hmm... I am not sure if that was good idea to show Guilmon to that girl. Mister Lighter is not probably going to like it that knowledge of Digimon is spreading. I wonder what he is going to do with Takato, Lee and Ruki? His normal way of dealing with Digimons seems to only work when they are still in digital world or realizing. I wondef what signifiance that lighter has to him? |
| I like how Renamon is questioning her purpose as a Digimon, and what it means to be a partner. It's also easier to see where Impmon's animosity for domesticated Digimon comes from after seeing that flashback. |

| Impmon was treated like a toy by children, that is the reason for his attitude. Finally, Ruki and Renamon are a team again. |

| First, I like anime that give a different footstep sounds to different species. It's a nice touch. Even though they're Digimon, Impmon and Renamon aren't the same. Second, Impmon obviously wants a partner but I get the feeling he's scared that he'll get one that'll mistreat him or think of him as lesser (this is then highlighted with Renamon who is going through that crisis.) Third, I noticed Jian hasn't been acting two-faced lately. I guess the writers figured out what they wanted him to be and now he's constant. I approve. (lol at Lighter saying Jian's name wrong and when corrected totally ignores it. Asshole. XD) Fourth, I'm hoping we'll get more information on why Ruki seems to be closed off and reluctant to bond with anyone. Maybe she hitting that teen phase early, I dunno. Fifth, the two battles in this ep are an excellent example of what I dislike in a fight and what I like in a fight. The fight with the bees was going okay until the end when they just STOOD there as she did her attack. Plus, the animation had her and the attack just hover for far longer than necessary. That doesn't make me hyped, that makes me scream at the screen "MOVE!!" That makes the fight end of a bad note, thus bad fight. The second fight was much better. There was a nice flow and ebb to it like fights tend to have, a reason why a fighter'll get hit by not moving, and the repetition didn't feel like they were trying to be cheap. Eventually Renamon would have to do something but they managed to not bring attention to that factoid with Ruki. Good fight. (Though the fact they have to say their attack name in full to use it is pretty lol.) I'm not asking for Gintama levels of fighting. Just something that's not obvious to get the result they needed. |
| Yamaki realizes who has been cleaning up his mess. A Wild One. Dem digimon. Dat bee sting. Ruki runs away. Renamon won. lol at Terriermon and Culumon belly bumping. Yamaki. Juri wants to see. Kawaii she says. Tamers use of insert songs is starting to get disappointed, especially when compared to the GOAT 01. Of course Yamaki is going to try and get rid of their digimon because they are cleaning up after his screw up to destroy a digimon before realizing. |

| Yamaki approached Tamako and Lee. He told them to stop playing their game, because it's simply too dangerous. Takato showed Guilmon to Juri. She immediately became friends with Guilmon. A flashback of how two childer fought over Impmon. It seems he has a reason to hate humans, but it also feels that he wanted to have his own partner. After the fight with Harpymon, Kyubimon realized that she doesn't need to absorb anymore data to get stronger, she just needs Ruki. It's good that those two finally made up. |
