| Seeing Mayamura and Toshiya again was refreshing, I have a feeling about where this is all going and loving it. And despite all of the countless "repeated foul hit" scenes they do, I never grow tired of them. |

| What bothers me (just a bit) is if Major League baseball is so much more competitive, wouldn't that mean that if Goro becomes a regular, then he will already be out of Mayamura/Sato's league? Well . . . That is assuming Goro makes it to the Major Leagues, feel like he will have to work on mastering a breaking ball or two. Anyways, interesting turn of events at the end there, wonder if Gibson Jr. will do the same thing Goro did and reject the promotion, although I feel like he won't be able too since he can't fake an injury at this point and actually rejecting it will probably have very negative consequences. |

| An episode of Toshi vs Mayumura was amazing! If possible I want to see more of them in the near future. Compared to Mayumura, I think Toshi is lame too, but in the end he becomes one of the challengers which is a nice thing. This show becomes boring without any strong-willed players in it. |

| I'm alright with Toshiya, but I would've preferred that Mayumura won. I think it would've made Toshiya's decision to start trying harder again more impactful since he would have a tangible goal and motivating reason. Plus, Mayumura has been trying his hardest the whole time. For as much as this anime has pushed hard work, he should have been the winner by that measure as well. I just didn't find it convincing that Toshiya had really become driven or passionate at the end of the episode, whereas that trait is very clear in Mayumura and always has been. That makes for a much more interesting rival imo. It was a decent episode, but it could have been so much better. |

| toshi and mayumura talking about future and mayumura saying that world domination like it's supposed to be realistic and common goal, yeah right. toshi combines the emotions of his family, fans and teammate and hit a kamehameha... eh, homerun. and the last scene weren't that cliffhanger at all, i want to see gibson junior forgives honda already, it's the only thing left for me to anticipate in the season, i see it as finished already. |
| Not that I hate Toshi but I kinda wanted Mayumura to win as he has been motivated and working hard to climb his way to the top the whole time compared to Toshi who only gained it during this match. |

| Oh, this one was good. I would like a more powerful Mayumura than Toshi (Mayumura is a rival and Toshi is an "ally"), but it was a good chapter, probably the best no-Goro chapter of this season. |
