| Because it's too short. It has 12 episodes, all of which are 4 minutes long. If you take out the opening and ending themes, that leaves 3 minutes for the actual episodes. So in total, the whole show is 36 minutes long and that's nowhere near enough time to set up a plot and give it a beginning, middle and an end. Not to mention that nothing happens in episode 6 to advance the plot and the last episode is just a flashback filler. In conclusion, the show sucks because of poor animation, short running time with filler in spite of this leaving no time for the actual story, poor pacing, dull attempts to scare the audience, incest and sexualization of cannibalism. |

| ... Well I watch quite some anime shorts.. they usually good and acceptable length.. PuPa I liked quite a lot gave it 7/10 ....for a anime short it was good. But would be nice to have another season or more in-depth season where more get's explained.. Masses simply decide anime is "bad" so people give bad rating to it because simply "everyone says so" .. same shit is with so called "good" anime.. like Evangelion and One Punch Man ... IMO 1 was utter shit, 2nd was boring. PuPa has interesting setting & world with uniqueness to it, it was really disturbing for me but really interesting as well.. So In a nutshell.. watch it. don't like it? Drop it.. |

The description sounds interesting so for premise, so that deserves recognition personally. I didn't really like Evangelion either it just seemed like an average mecha anime to me. I guess One punch man is more of a hit or miss, depending if you like the jokes and themes. I personally do and I enjoyed it, but others may not. |

| Most likely because the studio that was in charge of animating it just took something decent and completely butchered it and left it there to rot. Manga was very intriguing and interesting minus the incestual cannibalism, but the way they animated it; delaying the initial first episode release and poor budget on the series (4 minutes) caused a lot of hate towards the series and became one of those series where you will never hear anything about it unless someone asks "What's the worst anime", but overall it is opinionated so it's up to you on what you think about it. |

Where are the fillers when the full anime is spent on showing a few pictures of the beginning of the manga? There is nothing shown for the sake of filling some void. Also, the anime is not long enough to reach the revelation, but when people complain about incest in this series, they don't even know how disgusted they would be if they knew who Yume really was. |
