| I thought this would be an interesting topic, with a unique take on a top ten list... basically everyone puts together their top ten anime, however you can only add one anime series per year for the last ten years (January 1st 2005 - December 31st, 2015) to your list. As for me, if I had to pick my anime of the year for the last decade, it would probably look like this... 2017: My Hero Academia S2 2016: Erased 2015: Death Parade 2014: Terror in Resonance 2013: Attack on Titan 2012: Psycho-Pass 2011: Deadman Wonderland 2010: Angel Beats 2009: InuYasha: The Final Act 2008: Casshern Sins 2007: Mobile Suit Gundam 00 2006: Death Note 2005: Eureka Seven 2004: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG 2003: Wolf's Rain 2002: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2001: Hellsing 2000: InuYasha Looking over the last decade, 2012 was probably the hardest year to choose a favourite from with Another, Eureka Seven AO, Sword Art Online and Psycho-Pass all coming out in the same year. |

| Made a small change to my ist, I removed the second season of Psycho-Pass (2014), and added Terror in Resonance/Zankyou no Terror in it's place. Having watched a couple more shows from the 2014 season that I initially missed out on, I can say this would of been a tough year to pick a favourite as well... Psycho-Pass 2, No Game, No Life, Terror in Resonance, and of course Black Bullet. As I clear more anime off of my backlog, it'll be interesting to see if I end up switching out shows in any of the other years as well, or not. I ended up going all the way back to 2000, with my favourite show from every year. |
