 Shounen Jump has opened a teaser website for a TV anime adaptation of the manga ēlDLIVE. The series will be adapted by Studio Pierrot and air in 2017.ēlDLIVE is drawn by Akira Amano and was originally published in full color in August 2013 as part of Jump LIVE. The series later moved to the Shounen Jump+ digital platform in September 2014. Four compiled volumes of the manga have been published by Shueisha, with a fifth volume scheduled for March 4, 2016. According to Amano, the first volume sold more copies than expected when it was released in 2013 and had to go into reprint. Synopsis Chuuta Kokonose is an orphan who lives with his aunt. For as long as he can remember, he's had a voice in his head, but other than that he's a normal boy—right until the day when a strange-looking thing follows him home and teleports him to a place filled with more fantastic creatures. It's a space police station, and Rein Brickke, the Chief of Solar System Department, tells him that he's been chosen by the computer as a possible candidate to join the police force. Misuzu Sonokata, a girl from Chuuta's school with an angelic face and ill temper who turns out to be one of Rein Brickke's subordinates, doesn't think him suitable for such a job. Chuuta, who was shocked at first, decides to take the aptitude test after being urged by the voice in his head and to prove Misuzu wrong. | So I guess this is what caused KHR! goods to suddenly appear everywhere... In any case, I'm happy for Amano. Hopefully this time things will go smoothly. As for the anime, the character design of KHR!'s anime was pretty close to the original art, so that's one thing I'm worried about with a different studio. Anyway, I haven't been reading this for a while, but I'm looking forward to the adaption. |
| I think it was publishing through some kind of mobile app, so it was most likely hard to get chapters and with so few of them the quality was not so good. Can't say much for the story, but the start was pretty much nothing special and expected similar to reborn. Still liked reborn a lot so at least will try it. |

| Oh I wanted to read this, couldn't find the chapters anywhere though. Will be looking forward to the anime! I loved KHR. Pierrot has screwed up just about every manga adaption they've touched, but at least Akatsuki no Yona was done right, don't despair just yet guys |

Well, like others have already stated, Pierrot being attached to this has made me lose any faith in it being decent. But who knows, maybe it could be a surprise like Akatsuki no Yona.....probably won't happen, but still. |

| Considering they murdered two of the most beloved shounen series of all time (they drove Bleach into the ground with filler and ruined everything good about Tokyo Ghoul in their adaptation past about episode 6), AND they are dragging out Shippuuden to the point that any fan of it I ask about the situation begins throthing at the mouth and convulsing...yeah I'd consider most people's incredulousness warranted. |
