| The scenes used in that clip are from the 3th season, namely Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, in my opinion the best of the 3 season, tho many will disagree with me. The first 2 are very enjoyable as well tho, and I can definitely recommend them if your looking for a good Mahou Shoujo/moe/action show. |

You didn't even wait for Fate. Once Fate shows up, the series gets progressively more awesome all the way to the end of Season 2. Hell by the end of Season 1, the only thing "magical girl" about it is the title. Nothing beyond it can really classify as traditional "magical girl" anime. Season 3 is good, but it's not Season 1-2 quality. Go back and watch more, at least until Fate shows up. | You should keep on watching it. Season 2 is by far superior in every aspect than season 1. Season 3 good except of the first half of it. D= @ Splitter. I've seen that MAD a long time ago and I still don't get bored watching it all over again. Its definitely one of the best MADs ever made. >__< P.S. Do NOT let the "Mahou Shoujo" part of the title scare you away. >_0 |

| Magical girls gone brutal and lesbian, that's Lyrical Nanoha in a nutshell. That clip with the Hellsing sounds is actually quite fitting, considering Nanoha's extreme befriending in StrikerS. Also, as mentioned above, dropping Nanoha before Fate's arrival was a bad move. You missed out on half of what makes the series good. I don't know if you'll get to actually like the series, but I suggest you at least finish the first season. Though, by skipping A's and StrikerS you'll miss out on a lot of brutal magical battles and heavily implied off-screen yuri. Filthy lies and slander, I agree with you. <3 In my opinion, Nanoha is one of the few series that actually get better the further it goes. Though, with StrikerS being as good as it is, I'm kinda hoping there won't be a fourth, and that the movie won't fsck the pattern. |

| I myself have only seen A's and the first season, but I can tell You that, by just watching those, I am already hooked. The series gets better as it goes on, and when Fate shows up, it really gets good. First few episodes of Seaosn 1 were slow, but it picks up soon enough. My advice to you, is to stick with it to the end, before making your choice if you like it or not. |

| Just finished Season 1 and I have to say it was much better than I thought. I plan on starting Season 2 in the next few days. EDIT: Now I am done with A's I must say the increase in this season was beyond exponential. Can't wait to start Strikers |

Can't wait to start Strikers Thank god ^_^ I was reluctant to watch this show too, and I was soooo temping to drop it after 3 episodes, thanks for the review on MAL saying that it get's good after Fate's arrival, which is the character that I believe I'll find interesting upon seeing the opening ^_^ It's cool. EDIT, almost dropped StrikerS, but now I got right back into it again ^_^ |

| I just finished the firest season it was kinda boring when it began but i became completely addicted once Fate showed up then the action picks up and it gets a lot better |

| I came very close to dropping this show about two or three episodes in. In fact, I had added it to my dropped list, but later took it off after reading some more reviews on the series. Manned up, grabbed some popcorn, and fought through the more boring episodes and then finally discovered the plot halfway through. tl;dr: It gets better. |
