The theme of the film was to be, not unlike Oshii's "Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer," that everything was an illusion, including Lupin himself." Some pretty unconventional stuff here. Half of it sounds right for Lupin, half of it doesn't. But it's a curiosity that's worth a look at.   |
