| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nice Horubee flashback. So he was Citron's first Pokemon. He sort of reminds me of Thumper, well in the flashback that is. Now if I remember correctly, shouldn't the Coal Mine be after Anistar City? Route 17, the snowy mountains are before Anistar City. Was it just a coincidence that there was another coal mine? It threw me off this episode because I remembered the coal mines being before the 8th gym but after the 7th gym. Next episode: EEVEE!!! |

| This was a very enjoyable episode. Focusing on Bonnie and Clemont, and learning something about Bunnelby was interesting, too. My only problem is that this episode lends credence to my belief that Bunnelby will never evolve. Even though it wouldn't take much effort, we've seen Diggersby twice. Way back in the beginning of the series, there was an episode that featured several Vivillon patterns. There was also a poacher who tried to poach all the vivillon, and he owned a diggersby. And in this episode, it's a bully. Sure it's redeemed at the end of the episode, but neither case has portrayed this pokemon in a very positive light. |

| Bunnelby <3 I literally loled when Bonnie and Clemont were acting the battle out and Clemont pretended to use dig xD The ending made me laugh too. This whole episode pretty much made me smile xD I always liked Bunnelby's voice. I wonder who his VA is... |
| I knew they'd fall down a mine shaft, and they thought they were safe after they defeated Team Rocket lol. A nice flashback of how they met Bunnelby, by falling down a soon to be demolished subway station, they really should not have jumped over that barrier. Nice that they saved the Pokemon, can't see how Clemont fit that invention in his bag or how he ever thought he'd encounter a situation like he needs to move a dead subway cart lol. Acting out the battle was hilarious! Clemont crying at the end, awww! I knew Bunnelby had bonded too much with him to just let him go. Yeah me too, his voice is cool. |
