| Definitely did not expect Hakuoro to be the type that sneaks out of doing his duties... He seemed so "responsible" and everything. I am wondering what these new characters are bringing to the series, also. Are they really allies? I hope so... I wish there were some explanations as to why all these 'people' have animal characteristics though - ears and tails, or wings, or horns like Hakuoro has (although they just seem to be a part of his mask, which still hasn't been explained either). The episode preview was kind of cryptic. D: Who are they at war with now?! |

Almost everything (everything important was) in the novel was adapted to the anime (including the OVAs). Since Utawarerumono VN has just one route, it was easy to make an anime out of it. The biggest differences between anime and VN are that the VN is 18+ (has hentai scenes) and has gameplay, so you don't see them fighting, you fight it yourself. If you don't care for the hentai scenes and the gameplay, then stick with the anime. The fights in the anime are very good IMO and you wont be seeing them in the VN. |

| Okay so Hakuoro became emperor of the country, things are going quite well now although I don't know now I still feel like something odd how it became to be. I wonder about yamayura and how it is to leave it behind for the two girls. Shame they didn't explain a bit more about the winged people and its place and purpose again only briefly mentioned, and shammmmeeee Eururu got sisterzoned makes me wonder how old she is and Hakuoro too |

| Hakuoro sneaking out from work and Benawi's reaction xD Goddammmit Hakuoro, Eruruu is best waifu~ Aruruu adorable as always, also the new girl Kamyu :3 Was nice to see them having fun together with Yuzuha. Really enjoyed this episode, so peaceful. Next episode preview...don't like this. |

| Am I the only one bothered by the fact that there were bees wriggling around in the honeycomb they were eating? What the hell man! Honestly, they looked more like maggots than bees, though—even worse. |
