Infirmary

Fate was carried through the doors of the infirmary with a damp towel around her while she was carried by Roa. She heard Roa ask the lady something but she was getting tired. Whether it was from blood loss or her hemophobia, she could not tell. Possibly the combination of both is what triggered it. Whatever the case was she would not hear the ongoing conversation between the nurse and Roa when they first entered. She only knew that she would eventually be placed down on some kind of bed. A small Damn it Roa... would escape her mouth.

The nurse had asked her what happened and she would sigh a bit angrily.

I headbutted a girl with a metal helmet and then I fell while taking a shower...are you almost done?

Roa had reassured her not leaving and she opened her eyes to look at him ans the doctor started putting bandages around her head. Every time the nurse had touched her she would tighten up her grip around his shirt.

Fate listened to the nurses question of asking either once or multiple. Fate didn't really know what the doctor was asking exactly but she thought that she was asking about how many times she hit her head possibly.

I only hit my head twice. Once on each time.

Hearing what Roa whispered made her train of thought go completely out of the window. Her jaw dropped and she stared at him for a moment. Did he just confess? We barely know each other...and we've only just met and...well... I don't know. Geez... It's not that I don't like him but I've never felt that way about anyone before... She completely forgot about the false threat of the infirmary so any resistance from the doctor. She looked away from Roa and her face turned red. She would tug on Roa so that she could whisper into his ear.

Umm...Roa....Shouldn't you put more thought into saying things like that? We've only just met after all.

She would then look away again. She would not turn her head because that's where the nurse was looking but she would avert her eyes.

Fate would keep her eyes averted and her face would still be red however it would have a mixture of relief and a small pout.

She would then take a deep breath and let him go. She would cover her mouth with part of her hand and look at him for a moment. She would stay quiet for a little while and look him over from top to bottom a few times. His accidental statement made her reevaluate him and a smirk appeared on her face. She had to remember that he was of the opposite gender so he could get her pregnant if she was not careful. Her dad had told her that a boy can get a girl pregnant if they kissed so she had to make sure that he would keep his lips to himself.

Roa had hugged her tightly. He was a lot stinger than he looked. His hold would cause the nurse to stop if they were not already done by this point. The first part of the hug had scared her because she thought that he had read her mind and would attempt to do what she was thinking but when he wrapped his arms around her she was entirely confused. This was the second time he had done this. He had also picked her up before. They had a very touchy relationship already.

He did say that he was not good with girls...All this touching though....I wonder what he would do if we became closer friends...What if her pushes the beds together again?....Well I didn't really have a problem with that...well not at first..now its just weird..Ahh this is soo weird. He did this to me! All these hugs and this infirmary business and these thoughts...Damn it Roa. I guess this is what comes with having a friend huh?

All of these thoughts would pass by her head as she returned Roa's hug. The tightness of the hug stopped affecting her after a while and she just got used to the warmth of Roa.

Hearing Roa say that he was going to take her back to the dorm to rest made her look up at him in slight shock. She was going to be picked up again but she didn't want to be picked up again because it would cause embarrassment. Something Roa made her feel plenty of. She steeled herself and tried to get up on her own but would fail and he would have to carry her anyway. It was very embarrassing so she would hide her face by looking towards his body and closing her eyes in attempt to hide.
