| Art isn't intense enough to deliver a real scare, and there isn't really much atmosphere. It's fairly good at delivering the stories in a folk tale-style representation, though, especially considering how these were based on stories given by people IRL. |

| Eh, overall it was a pretty ok manga. I think the best story was the second one (the one where the kid went into a coma after his friend dies while shielding him from his crazy mother) but this was probably the second or third best so it ended on a decent note I guess. |

I agree with Cerisine, the art isn't enough to entice fear/horror into the reader. In fact, a lot of the "scary faces" were simply realistic.The transition to cartoony face --> realistic face was, if anything, comedic. |
| This didn't really click for me in the horror department, to be honest. The not-so-great art was a big part to why I wasn't scared of it at all but the very abrupt and incomplete endings along with the sudden but weak "jumpscares" where someone just looks like an old person also hindered my enjoyment of it. I didn't like it but kudos to their efforts though~ |

| It's all interesting and horrific in its mystery, but it's not great or well put together. 4/10. The art style is more awkward than scary as well. |
