| Summerslam 2015 Was a good show overall with the amount of matches that seemed like filler they actually turned out to be quite good. [spoiler] Stand out matches for me were Seth v Cena and Owens v Cesaro. Overall a good show, Taker v Lesnar finish was a bit eh but I'll take it. If Kane had rung the ring bell then I would of been more okay with it because that makes sense, but Taker tapped I guess Kane wouldn't ring the bell because of that. Also how did the timekeeper see it? It was obscured from his vision just like the ref. |
| Night of Champions 2015 [spoiler] Overall an all round good PPV, wouldn't say it was amazing or anything spectacular but it was good. Owens is new IC Champ and his interview couldn't of summed up my reaction to his win better. :P Charlotte defeating Nikki Bella pretty much says that the whole fiasco on Raw was totally about scrubbing AJ from the history books as the record holder, still I'm very happy Nikki is no longer the champion and we finally have someone who deserves the belt holding it. Now they just need to bring back the Womens Title and we are all good. Cena wins back US Title, what was the point of dropping it to Seth in the first place then? I have no idea. Sting legit looked fucked up during that match, taking that bump through the table looked pretty rough for a 56 year old man, still he was moving around better than Taker at least. I have a feeling the match ended like it did because of said injury, just felt kinda rushed with the roll up but I suppose a roll up makes Sting look a little strong in defeat. |

| Thoughts on NOC [spoiler] Kevin Owens vs Ryback-I liked the limb focus and it was a solid match the roll up was also good Ziggler vs Rusev-So much better than the SS one I thought Rae was going to cost him the match as well. Tag team match-New Day rocks they also kept Dudleys strong but new day are so entertaining Bubba not as good as he used to be Dvon is still great though. Charlotte vs Nikki-I don't like either of these people and Charlotte basically done a super Cena, the whole match seemed to be about focusing her leg so she cant use the figure 8 but she just goes and uses it wtf, couldn't they not use the natural selection. I'm sorry what is Charlotte all she is to me is a female Ric Flair she does uses all his stuff I'm surprised she didn't come out in the robe, AJ styles was less obvious than her. Wyatt vs Shield- I was excited for Y2J but then realized straight away he was there to job I would of liked someone bigger John Cena vs Rollins-I mean I thought the Authority were on his side why is he doing 2 matches in a row? Still it was a great match and the best of the night Cena looked like a heel afterwards. Sting vs Seth Rollins-I was rooting for Rollins and he won clean which I'm happy with but Vince is seriously trying to kill the legends he allowed all them stunts for Sting to do and now he has put Taker in a hell in the cell with Brock. They made Sting weak by making him lose after what Cena did though their is no way I want a Sting vs Taker match now. |

| Hell in a Cell [spoiler] John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio: Surprised they went with Del Rio here, not really a fan of his but he is an impressive wrestler. Match overall was okay nothing special here except Cena took most of the attack and was defeated clean which was surprising. And he was beaten in around 7 mins what gives? Reigns vs Wyatt: Great Cell match table spots were really good not to mention other use of weapons Reigns earned some more of my respect here he can really bring a fight. Wyatt too shame Wyatt seems to lose every single one of his feuds though. New Day vs Dudley Boyz: Not much to say here it was pretty meh, that horrible botch from the Dudleyz and the Eddie Guerrero-esque move with the trombone were the only memorable things from this match. Charlotte vs Nikki Bella: Pretty good honestly, a few botches but it was still good and I have no idea what that back flip off the top rope was meant to be but it was cool, I guess? Alabama slam on the apron was great spot also glad Charlotte retained hopefully we can move onto new stuff here. Rollins vs Kane: Match was decent something just felt off about Kane in this match though, maybe its because I haven't seen non-corporate Kane wrestle since 2007 I dunno. Shame the table spot got botched, kinda put a dampener on the match but Rollins wins clean which is a good thing in my book. Owens vs Ryback: Pretty bad match honestly I don't know what happened they got 5 mins of time and I just don't think Owens and Ryback fit well together at all. At least Owens got a clean win here none of this eye rake roll up nonsense (even though Ryback totally sold an eye rake/poke from a kick to the head which actually hit his shoulder). Hope this means feud is over and Owens can hopefully get a new opponent who will have great chemistry with. Lesnar vs Taker: Very good match here better than Summerslam and WM30 for sure, even better than their 2002 match in my opinion. The use of blood here was very effective and added to the drama in this match Brocks face was a literal crimson mask at one point I love how the crowd booed the doctor when cleaning them up and how Lesnar just shoved him across the ring the second time. Happy there was no silliness in this finish it was as clean as you can get in a Cell match really and Lesnar went over, the right choice I think. Overall it was a pretty good PPV considering the lackluster build up. |
