THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS VOLUME.
----------------------------------------
Blue Knight adventure part 2 start.

What surprise me in this volume is that only Alaia can activate Signaltin and Maxfern want to take control of it plus Koutarou tell his entire story to Alaia.

Is the deity at the beginning is Alaia? If so then Koutarou have fulfilled his promise to meet Alaia first before any invaders.

There is also a fact that Koutarou will go to 10 year ago to search for Kiriha first love thus end up making him become the one that meet her in the first place.
Kickstarter for Rokujouma is fully funded. Good work everyone. Lets wait for the result of our hard work together.

These emotion are real. Just a great story.

Now onto detail I'm just surprised that cost of activating Signaltin is life force. Is this also the reason Harumi is sickly? The battle with Alunaya is great too with 3 vs 1. Now another surprising thing this volume is they didn't jump to the future but frozen in place for 2000 years. Really this series never cease to surprise me. Now the question will be is the calculation right as in they wake in their own time or there will be another event leading to 20 year and 10 year ago?

Another thing is that shipping is really hard here. Bertorion x Alaia is certainly OTP but Koutaro x Theia is my fav.

This did answered some things. And it was a really good story.
I wasn't expecting for Koutarou to tell Alaia the truth about him.

So many things to point out and talk about that I don't even know where to start...
One thing that didn't happen was the jump to 20 and 10 years before the present, uh...

Depends on whether you take chronology of Rokujoumas history or Koutarous life.
If you take the history certainly the one he met first would be the deity since it was at the beginning of all time, but if you take the life of Koutarou since his birth, the one he has met first would be Harumi during the club scouting when he saved her.

I really wasn't expecting such feels from this novel. Damn, now I just can't accept Koutarou being so "ok" in vol. 8 :/ After that ending it feels like he got over his bad mood to easily for me.

Alot happened in this volume, and it didnt lost any time getting addictive, with Koutarou sharing his secret with Alaia, great scene there.
The dragon was cool and it made some sense with how it was done, cant wait to see more of him in the future.

Alaia showing why she is best girl material, that ending got me way warder than I expected!!

Another crazy volume. I didn't find it to topple the excellence of 7.5, seriously that was a monster. This one, though... It truly felt like the end to an entire light novel series but I'm glad we'll be getting more. I wonder how the events will transpire from here on out. It's hard to believe I'm not even 1/3 into this franchise at this point. It leaves me with worry and excitement for the pacing and continuity respectively.

For the contents of this volume. I enjoyed the pacing and seeing a well-rounded pace for the development and progression was delighting. The structure constituting that world was very interesting. I liked the explanation for why dragons exist and that it was eased by acknowledging magic and the surreal.

The connection between Harumi and Koutarou is really something special. Her weak constitution just adds to it but I did feel sad seeing her have to use her incubation powers twice, possibly reducing her life by: 1 - 0.5*0.5; 75%. It wasn't directly stated so I can't say for sure.

I have two things I did not understand. The first is the statement CrimsonSilver4 made saying "One thing that didn't happen was the jump to 20 and 10 years before the present, uh...". I don't quite understand what this means and it might be something important I am missing out on. What is this thing about 10-20 years and Kiriha?

The other event that I had difficulties interpreting was their departure. Since Harumi is an obvious reincarnation, I believed Satomi would also be one. But being frozen in place kinda kills that possbiliity. At what point in time did they become "unfrozen" to return to their timeline? Since, Satomi had to have been born from his mother and lived his life until that point. I do have the theory that they changed the past but managed to retain the future, which is supported by Harumi suddenly feeling emotions during the play. But I am feeling a timeline issue in that case. then. Eh, 5/5 anyways.

The 10 and 20 mentioned here is the year before present. Essentially they have to make stop twice in the future to have a part for space travel. The first stop is 20 before the present where the part for space travel is available. That way after repairing the ship they will travel to Earth with estimated take 10 year because they don't use warp with their body frozen in time. The 10 year before present is another time that are needed for their adjustment in Earth. Of course thing isn't as easy as that and there will be something happening but I won't spoil that.

Right. In other words, they have to change the past again for everything to perfectly align. I am guessing we'll get more details in future. Can't wait!!

Creating stable time loop is a lot of hard work after all.
