| I think the Trolley problem is a problem against any form of morality system. It's essentially an ethical trade-off problem, which actually happens quite a lot in real life, especially in discussions regarding the management of society. What is more truthful is that all morality systems are contradictory and will always face a dilemma or a situation of being stunned. Moral systems is basically a quick-access formula that hinders situational awareness. In most cases and for the long term, situational awareness or mindfulness is a better form of mental state than a moral-frame of reference. |
